This beautiful card is Cammie’s way to show twhat it is like to be at total peace with your current state of being. Irie (I-rie \I ‘ -ree) is the word in Jamaican Patois that means, “alright”. The term can be used to mean 1: powerful and pleasing; 2: excellent, highest; n 3: the state of feeling great. It is commonly used by members of the Rastafari movement (see Iyaric).
This card showcases Cammie’s master brayering skills and using an unknown and retired Stampin Up stampset.
No matter how brayered Cards Cammie does and no matter how many cardinal cards she does they never get old and I love to send them in the winter. There is not too much I love about the winters in Ohio but there is nothing like looking outside and seeing a tree full of beautiful red cardinals. So it is fitting that Cammie used her now retired Stampin Up Joyful season to make a beautiful winter card.
Todays card is a very calming and beautiful card that Cammie made using her master braying skills and the Stampin Up Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder #139673 and then she added the snowdrifts and the dazzling diamonds snow caps. The sentiment was cut from the Christmas Greetings #139659 Thinlits. This card is absolutely stunning and amazes me that it started out with all Stampin Up Whisper White cardstock.
Cammie loves to create beach scenes and today’s post is a real beauty. Cammie used her master sponging skills to create the clouds and the sandy beach. She added the bright “sun using the Blended Bloom #135906 single stamp. She used different color combinations to create the gorgeous image. She finished the card by adding the sea life image from the Wetlands #126695.
Today’s post is another Christmas card from Cammie that features the Christmas Bauble #138834 wood mount single stamp that is only available on the Stampin Up Clearance Rack This shiny Christmas Bauble adds the perfect finishing touch to a card or gift. Cammie used gold embossing powder to make each layer of the bauble shine and then added silver embossing powder to the pine branch on her beautiful brayered landscape.
Well, it is already the 25th of the month again and as promised, I am posting a Christmas card. This card is completely appropriate since we have had a cold and snowy February in Ohio. The snowman is way happier than most of us that are frozen cold and over all the snow. Never the less, Cammie made a beautiful brayed sky and than added an adorable Snowman using Stampin Up circle punches and a torn snow mound.
Hope this card inspires you to warm up and get a jump start on your Christmas cards.
My husband and I recently went to AZ to visit his mother and her husband. Anyone who knows me knows that I love cacti-especially “cacti with arms”. Seeing these saguaro cacti in a quintessential AZ sunset was on my bucket list and when we went to Tuscon I got to see these beauties thriving complete with the AZ sunset. So my post today is the thank you that I made for my mother-in-law. My sunset was brayered and sponged using lessons that my sister Cammie taught me awhile back. I am not comfortable with brayering but I think this card turned out pretty well. I added the Saguaro cacti from the Stampin Up Yee-Haw polymer stamp set #138107 and the desert brush was added using the Wetlands #126695. Thanks for a great trip and beautiful memories and wonderful weather!
