Today’s card is an awesome card for any beer lover in your life. Cammie made this card for my husbands birthday but it could be used for any celebration including graduation and as my son calls it drink o de mayo!! This card uses the soon to be retiring Brick Wall textured impressions embossing folder. For the focal panel Cammie stamped the beer image from the soon to be retiring Mixed Drinks #141928 stamp set. Cammie created this maculine birthday card with lots of embossing starting with the Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder #138288. The rest of the elements were heat emobossed using the One wild Ride #141721 stamp set from Stampin Up. This set is perfect for the hog riders in our lives. You’ll never have to search for the right card again because you can just make it with the One Wild Ride stamp set.
I wanted to practice my brayering skills so I attempted it with today’s card. I simply brayered the main panel and then added the tree from the Stampin Up Thoughts and Prayers #128751 stamp set. I accented the flowers using a white gel pen.The sentiment is from a retired set and the matted panel is added to a piece textured layer embossed using the Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder #138288.
Between Cammie and I we have given our Swirly Scribbles #141497 Thinlits a real workout since the new Stampin Up annual catalog premiered. Today’s Christmas card the background piece was textured using the Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Then, Cammie used the scribble that looks like a wreath, adorned it with pearls colored with Copic markers for the cranberries. She added a bow and sentiment from a retired thinlit set. What a super simple and classic Christmas card.
It’s the 25th of the month and it’s 6 months until Christmas so its a double reason to post a Christmas card. The background DSP has been retired for a couple of years but is still one of my holiday favorites. I made the igloo using the Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder #138288 and then cut it out using the Oval framelits and the oval punches. For the adorable penguin, I used Playfuls Pals #14050 and the coordinating Pyramid Pals #140618 framelits.
The Playful Pals stamp set allows you time to play like Dr. Frankenstein and build your own creatures. But in this case, the lab is your home, the science is a stamp set, and the creatures are whimsical pets that will be adored by one and all. Combine images to make an elephant, chick, monkey, dog, frog, and pig. That’s just for starters—turn your imagination loose and see what else you can make.
This is a Two-Step Stampin’ set. Combine individual stamps to build the final image you want in the colors you want.
Cammie has done a fantastic job combining multiple Stampin Up products to create this nice whimsical card featuring the Stampin Up A Nice Cuppa #140683 photopolymer stamp set. She stamped the stacked tea cups and then hand cut out the image and popped it onto a textured Brick Wall #138288 sponged with an oval to highlight the cups even more. She added the mini tea bag for detail using the A Nice Cuppa and cut it out with the coordinating Cups & Kettle Framelits #140624. For even more detail Cammie added the focal panel to a rose red layer that was stamped using the retired Stampin Up Woodgrain background stamps. She anchored the panel using 2 partial Decorative Label punch pieces with Candy Dots from the subtle collection.
Below is a similar card using the same layout but instead of stamping the stacked cups, Cammie used the Cups & Kettle Framelits to cut the cups from the Stampin Up Love Blossoms DSP paper stack #140548.
Happy birthday to me! I love birthdays and I celebrate mine all month long which is one of the reasons that I am posting birthday cards everyday in March! Today’s birthday post is one of my favorites that Cammie has made using the Stampin Up A Nice Cuppa #140683 and the coordinating Cups and Kettle Framelits Dies #140624. To save money, be sure to order the stamp set and framelits as a bundle using #141074.
For this card, Cammie started with Rose Red card stock and used the now retired woodgrain stamp. For the main panel, Cammie used the Stampin Up Brick Wall #138288 for the wall. She then used an Oval mask and sponged in the oval. For the lower table portion, Cammie textured the rectangle with the Woodgrain TIEF #127821 and added a table runner cut from the Love Blossoms DSP #140548. From there Cammie made the silver teapot using the Cups and Kettle Framelits Dies and added multiple tea bags complete with cute sentiments from the A Nice Cuppa stamp set. I am sure my birthday will be tea-riffic!
When I saw the Market Fresh #138708 stamp set in the 2015-2016 Stampin Up catalog it was top on my list. I love stamps that play on words and “lettuce” be creative. Today’s card is one I made for a dear friend that recently retired from her 37 year federal government job. The background is textured using the Stampin Up Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I then added a strip of Farmers Market DSP #138448 and a few scraps of DSP hand cut into a banners and a piece of Washi Tape. The main panel is stamped using the all new and super fabulous Stampin Up Basic black Archival ink #140931. I used an array of Copic Markers to color the image and bring the lettuce to life!
