Today’s post is another beautiful nature scenes that Cammie has mastered with perfection. She brayered the background on the main panel and then stamped the floral image from the Stampin Up In the Meadow stampset #140751. The for you sentiment was cut from the Mini Treat Bag #137547 Framelit Dies and the Layered butterfly was made usiing both the Butterflies #137360 and the Bold Butterflies #138135 framelits. The panel was matted with basic black cardstock and mounted on top of a layered piece of black cardstock textured using the Stampin Up Softly Falling #139672 Textured Impressions Embossing Folder from Stampin Up.
Today’s beautiful birthday card is all about the gorgeous Wildflower Fields DSP #141022 from the Stampin Up Sale-a-bration brochure. I added a layered butterfly using 2 Stampin Up dies -Butterfly Thinlits #137360 and Bold Butterfly Framelits #138135 and adorned the butterfly with basic pearls and finished by adding the sentiment and hand cut the banner.
For today’s post I wanted to create a tunnel card. The card base is whisper white and textured with the Stampin Up Fluttering Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, TIEF,#139304. I added a piece of retired scallops dot ribbon to anchor the butterfly to. The butterfly was stamped with the Stampin Up Watercolor wings stamp set #139424 and cut with the coordinating Butterflies Thinlits die #137360. The Watercolor Wings Photopolymer Stamp Set makes making classic butterflies even better using a two set stamp set that allow you to overlay images that you can combine over the base image. Using colors and images you want to create the butterflies you want with endless possibilities. The Butterflies Thinlits dies is on clearance this week so be sure to check out the Stampin Up weekly deals
The outside of the tunnel card is the classic card but when opened up the tunnel is created. For the hole, I used the Stampin Up Oval #129381 and added a lacy butterfly cut using the Bold Butterfies #138135 framelits.
For today’s post, I let my creativity run free with the mix of organic images in the Stampin Up Butterfly Basics #138816 and the coordinating Butterfly Thinlit #137360. I wanted the intricate butterfly to stand out so I used a very neutral pallet of randomly stamped images to create my background layer. I then used the negative space from the butterfly to form a block. I brayered orange and reds on a piece of whisper white cardstock and then fit the intricate butterfly on top. I added a line of basic pearls to complete the card that I plan to use for a sympathy card.
I am trying to clear out my DSP collection from the last Stampin Up annual catalog to make room for the gorgeous new DSP in the current 2015-2016 annual catalog. For these 2 cards, I used the same layout and the same Stampin Up Flower Pot DSP just different patterns. To create the peek a boo butterfly window I used the Butterfly Thinlit dies # 137360. The small butterfly has an open design that allows you to place it where you want for precise cutting and perfect for this design. Here are close up views:
I have always been a fan of pretty paper and the 2014-2015 Stampin Up catalog had some of my favorites yet. Just a few more days for you to get the wonderful DSP before the Stampin Up 2015-2016 annual catalog goes live with new DSP. Check out the retirement list to see all the stamps, paper and embellishments that will be gone forever on June 2nd.
Today’s post is a beautiful and multi layered card that Cammie made to show case the Painted Blooms DSP #137784. Cammie used the Butterfly Basics Photoplymer Stamp set #137154 to texture the tags and the Daffodil cardstock. The tags were created using the Ornate Tag Topper Punch #137416. Cammie then cut a lacy butterfly using Butterfly Thinlit #137360 and added a sentiment onto a hand cut banner. She finished by adding layered Boho Blossoms punched flowers.
