Today’s post makes me smile and reminds me of Tim the Tool man Taylor’s neighbor, Wilson, from one of my all time favorite sitcoms- Home Improvement. How is that for a Throwback Thursday? Cammie made todays card using mostly product from the now retired occasions catalog. Cammie made the fence using the Hardwood #133035 Background stamp to cut the planks. She added the cute sign holding critter from the now retired Cheerful Critter set. The grass was hand cut from a piece of the now retired Adventure Bound DSP paper stack.
This is such a fun card that can be adapted to any occasion just by swapping out the sentiment.

Happy Easter one and all! Today’s post is a simple Easter card I made using the cute Stampin Up Cheerful Critters #137932 photopolymer stamp set. I textured the card base Pistachio layer with the Spring Flowers Textured Impressions Embossing Folder #137365. I then added the cute Cheerful Critters bunny colored with Stampin Up Blendabilites and a strip of grass hand cut with my Stampin Up Fringe scissors #133325.

A great big birthday shout out to our beautiful niece, Alexandra who turns 20 today. I made her a simple card using the Cheerful Critters photopolymer stamp set #137932 from the Stampin Up Occasions catalog. I simply love the I like your Face message to send a happy birthday message to a young lady no longer in her teens.
The chick was colored using an array of Stampin Up blendabilities markers. These markers are a great way to add color to effects to projects. Each alcohol ink assortment includes 3 markers (a light, a medium and a dark) that make blending and shading a snap. As a bonus, you can earn free Blendabilites Marker sets for free during the annual Stampin Up Sale-a-bration campaign on going now thru March 31st.

The Cheerful Critters are on parade in 2 separate cards today. The Cheerful Critters #137932 stamp set from the Stampin Up Occasions catalog has endless possibilities for all occasions. Cammie did 2 different examples using the same layout and just switched out the critters to create 2 fun cards. The background paper is from the Stacked with Love DSP paper pack #137779 and using the Stampin Up Blendabilites markers Cammie was able to coordinate the Critters clothing to the background DSP.
It’s funny that both Cammie and I usually steer away from the stamp sets that feature Critters but with the Cheerful Critters we both bought it right off the bat and have had fun working with it.
Today’s card is one I made for a dear friend and co-worker’s retirement. I used the all new stamp set, Cheerful Critters #137932 from the Stampin Up occasions catalog and colored the Critters with the Stampin Up Blendabilites markers. To anchor the critters, I used a strip of Best Year Ever DSP #138633 from the Stampin Up Sale-a-bration catalog.
What a cute outcome for a bittersweet day!
