When I was prepping to make all my calendar easel cards for the new year, I over cut and prepped by one but did not have enough calendars so I turned it into a cute birthday card for a January birthday.
So instead of the calendar piece I added the new Botanical Builder Framelit flowers from the all new Stampin Up Occasions catalog. The background paper is from the now retired Painted Blooms DSP. The It’s Your day sentiment is from the Fabulous Four Stampin Up stamp set # 134171 and the other one that serves as the easel anchor is from the You’ve Got This stamp set #139572.
It’s the 25th of the month so its time for a Christmas post! Today’s post is a simple design using all retired products but none the same you can recreate using new similar snowflakes and tag.
Speaking of retiring products, Stampin Up has published their retired list of products that will be gone soon. The stamps on the list will remain through June 2nd but all the other products will be available while supplies last or through June 2nd which ever comes first.
Today’s post is a super simple card but was really one of my favorites. The card was hard to photograph because the silver card card base is from the all new silver foil #132178 from the Stampin Up catalog. I embossed the foil using the stylish stripes embossing folder #132174. So now the card base looks like a pretty present that I then tied up with Cherry Cobbler seam binding and I added a tag using the Itty Bitty Banners #126257 stamp set and the coordinating Bitty Banners #129267 dies. This card worked up fast and easy and could easily be used for a birthday card as well.
The good news is that the Silver Foil and the Gold Foil are both available in the Stampin Up holiday catalog but will also be carried over in the celebrate everday catalog that starts on 3 January-1 June 2014.

Nothing says Christmas like Holly branches. Cammie made this simple Christmas card using retired stamps and ribbon but is a great card to stamp a stack of and knock out many cards in a weekend.
Today is the 25th and that means time for a Christmas card posting. Can’t believe it is just 3 months from Christmas and I already have some of my this year’s cards done! Sorry for the horrible picture for today’s card but I wanted to focus on the main punch art piece. The background DSP is from a now retired Christmas line from last year’s Stampin Up catalog. The poinsettias were created using the mini Christmas punches (no longer available), the candle is made from the Ticket Duo Builder punch #126883 and the flame is the mini ornament punch (no longer available. The candle is mounted on a window frames collection framelit #129021 and pierced using the coordinating Festive paper piercing pack #127857. I truly love creating punch art.
It’s the 25th of the month so it is truly a banner day for a Christmas card. For this card, Cammie used last years Stampin Up Christmas Cheer (now retired) DSP to make this super quick and easy card. The banner was hand cut and matted in Cherry Cobbler cardstock. The focal piece is an elongated Apothecary Accents framelit #127003 and she created an elongated window using the Word Window punch #119857.
This layout will work with any DSP and stampsets but why not get started on some easy Christmas cards using the new Christmas DSP in the Stampin Up Holiday catalog?
