Today’s card starts off with the all new Color Theory DSP stack #144193 from Stampin Up. I added the Adirondack chair cut from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits #143751 and the sentiment from the coordinating Colorful Seasons #143726 stamp set. This card is so quick and easy it truly makes me smile.

In case you did not know, today is national lazy day. So I guess that gives us the right to kick back and do nothing. I did not intentionally make this card with lazy day in mind but it is perfect to go with the day. Life is truly a beautiful day when there is sunshine, a drink in a red solo cup and a lounge chair. Perfect ingredients to kick back and people watch! This card features the Color Me Autumn DSP that is now retired from Stampin Up. For the main panel, I created the scene using the swoosh for the dirt from the Sheltering Tree # 137163, the chair, drink, and sentiment from the Colorful Seasons #143726 and the sun is from the Swirly Bird #141749 stamp sets all from Stampin Up. The extra bit of yumminess on this card is the new 1/4 inch copper trim from Stampin Up. It is so wonderful to work with because of the loose weave and zig zag stitching!
I brought the look of the outdoors inside with these natural, rustic patterns in the Wood Textures DSP papet stack from Stampin Up #144177. So many designs, so many colors, so many uses. Fronts and backs are similar grains and colors for ideal use in die cutting. I combined 2 patterns for todays card and embossed the sentiment from the Colorful Seasons #143726 stampset to create the sign.
Everything about this card makes me smile. I started out using the ever so popular and super fun Color Theory DSP #144193 for the background and the monochromatic “paint chip” panel. I cut the Adirondack chair using the Seasonal Layers #143751 Thinlits and added the sentiment from the Colorful Seasons #143726 Photopolymer stamp set.
Welcome Back to the USA Maddison! Your Momma is beyond excited to have you back from your nearly year long German exchange program. To all others, Happy 4th of July and celebrating the freedom of living in the good ole USA! This was a quick card I made using very old Stampin Up ribbon and the stars were embossed in white using the Stampin Up Perpetual Birthday Calendar Stamp set (retired). The sentiment is from the Colorful Seasons #143726 stamp set. This was super quick and a great way to use up ribbon from the end of the bolt.
