Happy birthday to my favorite pageant loving friend Cathy H. I hope I made your day complete with your own birthday sash! When I saw the Custom Tee #142916 Stampin Up stamp set complete with a pageant sash I knew it was for you! I used a piece of retired DSP. The focal piece I used the stamped the Custom Tee and then used the coordinating Tshirt Builder Framelits #142754 to cut out the tshirt and the sash! To dress up the tshirt for a frilly pageant style look I cut out a piece from a retired die and laid it over the shirt and cut away the excess to create the perfect top. I added the tshirt to a square cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits #142754.. May all you pageant dreams come true.

Happy Easter! I know I committed to posting a birthday card every day in March but this card that Cammie made was just too cute not to post on Easter. To be fair it just by changing the sentiment to thinking of ewe it goes from Easter to birthday in one fail swoop. The background DSP is retired and called Sweet Taffy. The sentiment is from a retired Easter stamp set called Eggs-traspectacular from Stampin Up. The sheep was made using a variety of Stampin Up punches and lots of hand cut Q Tips. The sheep was added to a tag cut using the Lots of Labels Framelits #138281.
Now that I broke my own birthday rule by posting a non birthday card during birth month, I will post Cammie’s other Easter card that uses the same layout and Sweet Taffy DSP but uses the Stampin Up Friends & Flowers Stamp set #140511 and the coordinating Festive Flower punch #139682.
I love everything about birthdays and send out many birthday cards every year so I am always in need of birthday cards. Todays post is one that I made that features the Confetti Celebration DSP #133692 from Stampin Up. The bright dots in the background scream birthday and I then created the multi candle layer by randomly stamping candles from the Best Day Ever (now retired) stampset in coordinating bright inks. I cut the banner using the banner element from the Mini Treat Bag thinlits #137547 and added a piece of Tangelo Twist Satin Ribbon #133669. The featured panel is stamped using the Best Day Ever stampset and matted in strawberry slush to create a fun and cheerful birthday card.
The Confetti Celebration DSP is one of many items on the Stampin Up retirement list. Be sure to check out the list and stock up before your favorites are gone for good.
For today’s birthday card, I wanted to feature the Stampin Up DSP -Confetti Celebration #133692. Just the name Confetti Celebration sounds like a birthday party and since I am featuring birthday cards all month long I thought I would use this DSP today. The layout is simple and bright just layered a piece of the confetti celebration DSP and added various sizes of punched circles and sentiments from multiple stamp sets to scatter the birthday message on the card front.
Happy birthday to my dear college friend, Lisa that I met in engineering dynamics oh so many years ago. When I saw this stamp, Friends Who Know #134081 in the Stampin Up catalog I knew I had to have it. I have 4 or 5 friends that come to mind that know too much about me (Yes you know who you are) and I have decided to use this stamp and make the card 5 different ways and post it on my blog to honor my dear friends. This is the second time this month that I posted a card using this special stamp.
This stamp is wonderful not only for the expression but it coordinates with the Labels Collections Framelits #125598. I used the Confetti Celebration #133692 DSP along with the bright banners for extra Umph! The arrow is from the What’s Up #133781 punch.
Today is our brothers 55th birthday so to commemorate the event I made a very simple yet quite effective masculine birthday card. I used a piece of what I call masculine paper from the Confetti Celebration DSP #133692. I paired the fun paper with the Oh My Goodies #134090 stamp set and cut it with the Deco Labels Collection #130102 and matted it with a basic gray deco label to complete a simple and very masculine card.
