Today’s post is a girly girl birthday card featuring lots of Stampin Up products- most are retired but some are not. I started with the fabulous Confetti Textured Impressions Embossing Folder #140592 and I accent each corner with the Curvy Corner Trio punch (retired) and rhinestone bling. For the Oval focal piece I cut the oval using the Stampin Up Ovals Collection (retired). I built the cake using the Party Wishes stamp set and added candles from the Party Punch pack.
Here’s to a GREAT BIG birthday shout out to our own baby sister Blair! I made to versions of this card featuring a non Stampin Up stamp but everything else is all SU! I try to be loyal to SU but sometimes I find stamps that I just can’t refuse and this little jackass set from Unity was one of those sets! For the first card (the one on the left) I used the Stampin Up It’s My Party DSP #140552 and cut an oval window to display the donkey. For the 2nd card (on the right) I went all out for the total party feel my making a pinata. I used the same card layout as the first card but used hte Confetti Textured Impressions Embossing Folder #140592 that I partied up with fun bright colors and a dauber. I then dangled the donkey from a piece of silver cording and added the sentiment from the stamp set. Happy birthday baby Blair.
I love the bright color combination that Cammie chose for today’s birthday post. She used a retired Stampin Up folder to texture the background; although I think the new Confetti #140592 Textured Impressions Embossing Folder would be a perfect substitution. In the center of the card Cammie stamped the sunburst image from the Kinda Eclectic #135347 stamp set and then began building her gorgeous flower using pieces of the now retired mustache framelits die. To finish, Cammie cut the happy sentiment from the Hello You Thinlits #137363.
