My monthly Christmas card post is a day late because I had to pay tribute to my baby sister who had a milestone birthday yesterday. I love this card so much and plan to make it again using traditional Christmas colors. I used circle punches for the nose and heads. The hats are made using the cupcake dome framelit from the retired cupcake cutout dies. The pool party hat is textured with the Cable Knit Textured Impressions Embossing Folder #143537. The striped hat is cut from a piece of the soon to be retired How Sweet It Is #148568 Stampin Up DSP. I added the ruffle using the scalloped edge framelit from the Be Mine Stitched Framelit Dies #148527. The sentiment is from the Well Said # 148796 and coordinating Well Written Framelits #148534

I wanted to make a bright and fun card for my sisters 50th birthday and I think I succeeded. I used the now retired Hello Cupcake stamp set and the coordinating Cupcake framelits to make this card. I started out with a unique fun fold card using the soon to be retiring How Sweet It is DSP and then began layering the cupcakes one on top of the other to make a big cupcake!
Today’s post is another birthday card featuring the Broadway Bound #146277 DSP from Stampin Up. The sentiment is from the now retired Sweet Cupcakes and coordinating Cupcake Cutout Thinlits.
Today’s post is another card that showcases how the paper does it all! The background paper is from the now retired Naturally Eclectic DSP collection from Stampin Up. I added the butterfly from the retired Watercolor Wings stamp set and the sentiment is from the now retired Sweet Cupcake stamp set and the coordinating Cupcake Cut Out Framelits.
When I was prepping for my CASE (Copy And Share Everything) workshop I knew I wanted to use the Sweet Cupcakes #141498 stamp set and the Cupcake Cutouts Framelits #141474 because I had never used it since I bought it back when the Stampin Up 2016-2017 catalog was current. So I turned to page 23 of the Stampin Up 2016-2017 catalog and recreated the card. OMG I love the squiggly cut outs and the fact the both the stamp and the framelits are still available in the 2017-2018 annual catalog,
I have had the Sweet Cupcakes #141498 stamp set and the coordinating Cupcake Cut out Framelits #141474 for a long time and just decided to break them out and make a birthday card. For the checkerboard background, I used the retired 1″ square punch but the Layering Square Framelits #141708 would be a good alternative. The sentiments are from the Sweet Cupcakes stamp set and stamped on a hand cut banner.
Today’s card is yet another birthday one. All the DSP on this card is from the Stampin Up It’s My Party DSP paper stack that is no longer available. I love this paper and because the paper stack was a 12 x12 big paper stack I still have a lot left over and am trying to lighten the load in my craft room because the new Stampin Up annual catalog will be out soon! I love the layout of this card because it has a lot of layers but yet looks clean and fresh. The circle is cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits #145372 and I added the wish cut from the Cupcake Cutouts Framelits #141474 and the flower is from the Succulent Framelits Dies #142757. I finished the card with a hand cut banner with the sentiment from the Stampin Up Sweet Cupcake #141498 Photopolymer stamp set.
