Easter workshop

2017_04_05IMG_2077To kick off my first workshop of 2017,  I hosted my April workshop and put the projects in a cute basket I got from the Dollar Tree.  If you look closely, you can see the cute Easter treats that I made. I made the cute mini egg cartons.

I started  off with a bare mini egg carton #142776 from Stampin Up and misted it with water and Stampin Up re-inker to color the bare carton.  I filled the carton with mini chocolate treats and of course jelly beans. I then added a piece of paper from the Stampin Up Succulent Garden DSP collection #142778 and then tied it up with a piece of satin old olive ribbon. I finished it off by making  a tag using the super sweet Basket Bundle #143186 and attached it with the a piece of linen thread.

2017_04_05IMG_2073 Because no Easter basket is complete without a peep, I made a free standing food truck box from the Stampin Up Food Truck stamp set that is no longer available.  I accented it with eggs and the sentiment from the Basket Bundle stamp set in the Stampin Up occasions catalog.

Oh Hello its Easter

IMG_1373Happy Easter one and all! Most all the product used on this card comes from the Spring catalog. I started with a so saffron card base. I made the background using the Honeycomb textured embossing folder #129378. The DSP is a strip of Tea for Two DSP and edged with a Calyspo coral scalloped edge #119882.  To create the egg, I stamped the Oh Hello #130733 and I added a rhinestone to mimic a brad hinge.  I added the peep made using the bird builder punch #117191 and a pearl for the eye.  I finished the card with a piece of the calypso coral ruffled ribbon #122976 and the sentiment is from the Oh hello stampset.

Easter Peeps

DSCI0137 Who does not love peeps?  Today’s card is one of Cammie’s Easter designs.  I love all her brayering cards because she makes it sound so easy to create these realistic backgrounds but trust me I have tried to do it but mine don’t turn out quite as nice.

The PEEPS sentiment is stamped using the Morning Post Alphabet #126592 from the Stampin Up annual catalog.  The Egg was done using the Beyond Plaid backgroung stamp #129204 from the Spring Catalog and then she cut it out using the new oval framelits #129381 and then hand cut the cracked egg.  She added the peep using the bird builder punch #117191.  Super cute is what I can say.

Easter Treats

2013_03_31 Todays post is a quick concept shot of what Cammie has planned for Easter treats for her husbands office.  She made bunny and chick wraps for a Reeses egg.  They turned out cute and oh so hope that one magically appears in my basket!

Ears to You

2013_02_22Earsto youDSCI0031 Today’s card is a really sweet card.  Cammie took advantage of the sentsational single stamp offer from Stampin Up and bought the Ears to You #132659 single stamp to make her 2013 Easter cards. The sky background is brayered and then she stamped the grass image.  She stamped the Ears to You stamp 3 times in 3 different colors and then cut out one rabbit in each color and placed them in the grass.  The tulip is a die that is now retired but looks fabulous on the dark black background.  I love the way this card turned out and can’t wait to see the card when I receive it in the mail.

Hurry- The single stamps are only available through March 31 so be sure to place your Stampin Up order.  Plus if you order before March 22 you can take advantage of the fantastic Sale-A-Bration.  Free Stampin Up item for every $50 spent.

Hoppy Easter

Happ Easter one and all.  For my Easter card this year, I did a punch art card with the tail end of the bunny jumping through a hole in a tree that was stamped using the Stampin Up woodgrain background stamp #117100.  This background stamp is by far my favorite and one that I feel like I can actually use.  On the inside of the card the bunnies face is revealed and the sentiment I used is from the SAB set that says you make my whole face smile.

Hopefully your Easter egg hunt was a success and all the baskets were full of yummy stuff.  My son is 16 and he still loves for me to hide eggs with clues inside until he finds his basket full of loot.

Sweet Floral Easter Card

Today’s post is a beautiful Easter card using the Stampin Up Sweet Floral background stamp #122855.  As always Cammie did a splendid job with her Stampin Write markers and layering the flowers so they pop. Just by changing the colors and sentiment this card could transform into a card for almost any occasion.
