In keeping with the doily theme and inspiration from the Flirtatious DSP color scheme my stepped up card for the workshop is featured in todays post.
I randomly stamped delicate doily stamps in pretty in pink and daffodil delight ink on white cardstock. I then embossed the hello doily image in white craft ink and white embossing powder on wisteria cardstock. I then cut out and adhered to card front. I then made a looped ruffled ribbon from a 1″ strip of Flirtatious DSP. I used the sueding technique to create the mambo flower. I punched 2 fancy flowers and distressed them and then peeled them apart to create multiple layers that I scrunched together and secured with a wisteria polka dot designer printed brad. This card was a lot of work but so worth it.
