Summer Smooches-Day 7

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

WOO HOO we are just about halfway thru the Summer Smooches offerings. For today’s cards I was not only inspired by a card I received from my sister Cammie but I had to add a piece of of the Summer Smooches DSP #125409 from the new Stampin Up 2012-2013 IBC  for this card to qualify for the Summer Smooches cafe. I then used a bunch of sizzlits that are now retired as are the stamp sets I used for the center of the punched Fancy Flower#118073 also from Smooches DSP.  For those of you who came to the card cafe early on this card was not available so you might want to add it to your collection!

Kits (not including the stamped images) for this card and the rest of my Smooches cafe cards (13 designs in total)are available as a kit for $3 each plus S&H.  So over the next several days, I will have more of the designs available. If you have missed the previous cards in the Smooches cafe be sure to go back and look at the other designs, starting on my blog on June 1st.  So if you want a specific kit, email me and I will tally all the designs you want and ship them at the end.  If you want to buy all 13 card designs the cost is $30.  Hurry this offer is only available while supplies last.

Blossom Builder finale

Todays post is the final card I made using the Designer Printed Blossom builder kit *125410.  I made a total of 10 cards (2 Each of 5 designs) and still have stuff left over to make a few more.  This kit is truly a great value and lends it self to make lots of cards in a short amount of time but it is only available until April 30th when the Stampin Up occasions mini catalog ends.

Builder Blossom Thank you

I know what you are thinking. Enough with the cards from Designer printed blossom builder kit #125410 but it truly was fun to work with it and make so many cute cards! Lucky for you I just made 5 designs but 2 each of each design and still had stuff left over.  Remember the Stampin Up occasions mini ends on April 30th so make your list and place your order.  Stay tuned tomorrow for the 5th and final card using this fun kit.

Bright and Cheery Blossom Builder

Today’s post is probably my favorite of the cards I made using the Designer printed blossom builder kit #125410 from the Stampin Up occasions mini catalog.  I love the color combo of poppy parade and daffodil delight.  To add interest to this card I used the labels die framelits #125598 and adorning accents #1256021 (also from the occasion mini) to anchor the flower clusters. Added a scrap of ruffled ribbon in lucky limeade and stamped the sentiment.

Blossom Builder Sympathy

For today’s post, I used the card from the Stampin Up occasions mini as my inspiration and focused it on the baja blue flowers from the blossom builders designer printed kit #125410 to make a very elegant sympathy card.  I love this blossom builder kit and wish I had purchased another kit because it would have made awesome mother’s day cards.   I will add that to my list before the occasions mini runs out on April 30th.

Blossom Builders

Today’s post is the first of many cards that I made using the Blossom Builders kit#125410 from the Stampin Up occasions mini catalog.  This kit is designed to make things easy and comes with 2 pages of 12 x12 pre cut, double sided on texture paper and it all mixes and matches so that you can layer the flowers to make beautiful cards or scrapbook page embellishments.  It also has 1 sheet of Razzleberry rhinestones (30 total).  Super quick and super easy but get this kit while you can it is only available until April 30.

First Edition Birthday

For today’s card, I drew my inspiration from the card in the Stampin Up IBC on page 120 but I don’t own the Field of Flowers set (shocking I know) so I substituted another flower that is no longer available but I wanted to showcase the wonderful First Edition DSP #121878 and the Happiest Birthday Wishes Hostess stamp set #122617. I stepped out of my comfort zone with this color combo (soft suede, cajun craze, and peach parfait). The Stampin Up DSP is always always great but this First Edition Specialty paper is double sided and lighter in weight and once the image is stamped on it it takes on a whole new look. I stamped the sentiment on soft suede and then punched it out using the curly label punch #119851 and popped it on top of the cajun craze strip textured with the perfect polka dots textured embossing folder.  Love how it turned out!
