I love this card that Cammie made for today’s post featuring the soon to be retiring Perfectly Preserved stampset #126692 and the Friendship preserved set #127913 which made it into the new Stampin Up catalog. Cammie used the Fancy Fan Folder #127751 textured folder to add texture to a portion of the whisper white cardstock. She then used the Simply Scored Tool #122334 and the Simply Scored stylus #125624 to created double horizontal lines. Cammie used a Real Red Stampin Up marker to color just the Thanks a Bunch portion of the stamp from the Friendship Preserves and added it to the non textured area of the card. Cammie used the Perfectly Preserved stampset and coordinating framelits to make the jar lid and the apples.

I was lucky enough to receive this card from my sister Cammie and really liked how it turned out. The card front is a piece of Naturals DSP #126917. Cammie cut 2 banners one from Island Indigo cardstock and then embossed with the popular woodgrain folder #127821. The second banner is a strip of celery DSP from the DSP paper stacks #117512. The stamped image is from the friendship preserves #127913 and then cut from the coordinating Window Framelits #129021. The image was stamped twice and the thanks was popped. The image was then layered on a piece of Island Indigo ruffled ribbon #122974 and then rests on a larger razzleberry framelit and the results are stunning.
Good news all 3 of the products (woodgrain folder, friendship preserves stampset and window framlits) have been carried over ftom the Stampin Up Holiday catalog and are still available for sale.
Today’s card features the Perfectly Perserved stampset #126692 from the Stampin Up Holiday Catalog. The card base is the early espresso Cored’inations cardstock #127848 textured with the wood grain folder #127821 and then distressed to expose the core cardstock. The mason jar and flowers are from the Perfectly Preserved stampset and tied with a piece of espresso bakers twine. I adorned the jar with the window framelit #129021 and the coordinating Friendship preserves stampset #127913.
Yesterday I posted a simpler version of this card but today I stepped it up a bit. Both cards use the same products but yet the finished design is so different. This card features the Friendship Preserves stampset #127913, the coordinating festive piercing templates #127857 ans Window Frame Framelits dies #129021, the Orchard Harvest DSP#126895, the stampable 7/8 ” cotton twill ribbon #127844 and the Border Banter #128930 stampset all from the Stampin Up Holiday Catalog.
This goes to show you what fun and different looks you can acheive using the same products. So in my book, it makes for a great investment! Speaking of investments, you can get the Festive Piercing templates free during October with the purchase of the Ornament Keepsakes Stamp set and the Candlelight Christmas DSP (clear: 132261, wood:132260) or the Ornament Keepsake Bundle and the Candlelight Christmas DSP clear: 132263, wood:132262) . If ordering online then please use the item numbers listed above and not the ones in the Holiday Catalog to ensure you get your free template.
Today’s card is super cute and features the Friendship Preserves stampset #127913, the coordinating festive piercing templates #127857 ans Window Frame Framelits dies #129021, the Orchard Harvest DSP#126895, the stampable 7/8 ” cotton twill ribbon #127844 and the Border Banter #128930 stampset all from the Stampin Up Holiday Catalog. Sounds like a lot of product to make such a simple card but I love the way this worked up. I think one of my top favorite things to use right now on cards are the piercing templates. I like them because it adds texture and interest to the card and it looks like it would take time to do but it is really super simple.
