2013_07_20IMG_3358Today’s card is a stamp free card that features a banner cut from the Hearts A Flutter #130159 framelits using the  Gingham Garden DSP #129310.  To add even more cuteness, I hand cut banners from the all new Gingham Garden Washi Tape #129314 to add character to the banner and added a bit of bakers twine to create a trendy all purpose card.

Playing in the Garden

2013_07_18IMG_3359I am not a big fan of playing in the garden unless it is playing with the new, bright and fun Garden Gingham DSP.  I was struggling with how to use patterned paper and ran across a card sketch that I have come to love and my go to card layout.   Today’s card is a sweer card that I made using the Garden Gingham DSP #129310 from the Stampin Up annual catalog.  I love how all the paper coordinates and even 3 pieces of patterned paper does not make the card look too busy.  I added the sentiment from the Feel Goods stampset #129684 and matted it in the new Strawberry Slush Stampin Up in color. I added the punched butterfly using the Elegant Butterfly punch #127526 and a scrap of the Garden Gingham DSP.  The smaller butterfly was stamped using the Papillion Potpourri #123759 stampset and the coordinating Bitty Butterfly punch #129408.

Garden Gingham fun

2013_07_13IMG_3357Today’s card is a very cheerful card that I made using the Garden Gingham DSP #129310 from the Stampin Up annual catalog.  I love how all the paper coordinates and even 3 pieces of patterned paper does not make the card look too busy.  I added a Strawberry Slush stamped Label of Love #130622 and punched it out with the coordinating Artisan Label punch #130920.  I used the 3/4 ” circle punch#119873 to open up the label to reveal the strawberry slush and white gingham DSP and serve as the anchor for the Banner Greeting flag stamped using the new Hostess set called Banner Greetings #129714.
