Today’s card is another Thank You card I received from a friend that I neglected to post until now. The DSP is from the now retired Garden Impressions DSP collection from Stampin Up. The stamped image is also retired and a set that I don’t own so I cannot recall the name. I love it when I get a card using a Stampin Up stamp set that I don’t have.

I love getting cards from my creative friends and this card features the gorgeous but retired Stampin Up Garden Impressions DSP. The sentiment panel uses some leftover elements from Paper Pumpkin kit and the sentiment is from the Abstract Impressions stamp set.
I love everything about this card especially the layout to use up a bunch of scraps of coordinating DSP. Even though all the supplies to make this card are now retired including the Garden Impressions DSP, the Picture Perfect Birthday and Birthday Cheer Stampin Up stamp sets, I plan to use this design in the future.
Well I have reached the end of my birth month celebration and month long posting of birthday cards so I am ending on a sunny post featuring my all time favorite flower- the sunflower! This card is on trend with all the buffalo check stuff everywhere these days. I used the Buffalo Check Background #147797 stamp to create the rustic look. For the focal panel I made the sunflower by punching the petals from the Garden Impressions DSP #146289 using the Christmas Bulb Builder punch #148013. For the bold center, I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits #145372 and added the sentiment from the So Many Shells retired stamp set.

Today’s card is all about Abstract Impressions for creating a card with a lasting impression. I paired the Garden Impressions #146289 DSP with the Abstract Impressions #147513 stamp set from Stampin Up to make a card with a statement.

I have started to feel so comfortable mixing patterned papers together because Stampin Up makes it so easy when they coordinate their DSP collections. For today’s card, I wanted to use the new Mango Melody cardstock from the Stampin Up’s recent revamped Brights Collection. I textured the base layer using the Petal Burst #141493 Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. As luck would have it Mango Melody is one of the colors in the Garden Impressions #146289 DSP collection. For the sentiment I stamped images from the Abstract Impressions #147513 stamp set onto a Stitched Oval #145372 and then added the sentiment from the Picture Perfect Birthday #145519 stamp set.
