Todays card is another card featuring the popular Stampin Up Woodland #139673Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Prior to texturing the trees with the Woodland TIEF, Cammie brayered her background. She added the sponged moon complete with the owl from the Dark and Dreary retired Stampin Up set. The fun thing she did was create the Hoo Hoo Hooray sentiment using the Hooray image from the now retired Geometrical stampset and inked up the Hoo twice in Stazon before stamping the Hooray onto vellum. What a fun and spooky card for Halloween!

Today is the 8th birthday of our twin niece and nephew so I am posting 2 completely different cards that I made them for their birthday. The first card is the adorably girly card for Claire. I used the Stampin Up Flower Pot #133695 DSP for the background papers. I then stamped created the focal panel using the Kind Koala #134360 from the Stampin Up annual catalog. To color the cute koala I used the Smoky Slate blendabilities assortment #131005 and matted it on a piece of lost lagoon cardstock. I added a scrap piece of Crushed Curry Chevron #130019 ribbon to add texture.
The Kind Koala stamp is one of many single stamps available from the Stampin Up annual catalog. The single stamps are a low cost way to get started with stamping.
The 2nd card is a “boyish” card for our nephew Dylan. I made the gumball green background look quite grassy by texturing the background with square lattice textured impressions embossing folder. I created the soccer ball by using the Hexagon Hive Thinlit #132965 and then cutting it out with a Circle framelit #130911. I added the Geometrical #133161 expression on to a tag cut using the Chalk Talk Framelit #129983. Super simple and I feel this card is a real kick in the grass kinda birthday card.
Happy 4th of July! Today’s cards are my two versions of 4th of July cards. Both patriotic cards using the Work of Art Stamp set #134114. The flag is a single layer card and the stars were stamped with the silver metallic encore ink #132142. The big star on the starr card was cut using the all new Stars Framelits #133723. The little silver stars were punched from silver foil sheets #132178 using the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack #133787. The sentiment for both cards was stamped using the Geometrical #133161 stampset. All products for both cards are available in the new Stampin Up annual catalog.
Hopefully you can find time to see your local fireworks and spend time with family and friends.
Happy Birthday to my dear friend, Karen. I made a festive card in a pallet of bright colors and fringed the edges with the all new fringe scissors #133325 from the Stampin Up occasions catalog. I layered the fringe strips and finished it off with a piece of 3/4 ” black chevron ribbon #130010 and added a cork flower (no longer available). For the top of the card, I used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp #130517 to create a fun background in coordinating colors and the sentiment is from the Geometrical #133161 stamp set.
Happy Birthday Karen.
For todays post, Cammie focused on the Geometrical stamp set #133161 and the coordinating Triangle punch #133375 from the Stampin Up occasions catalog. The color scheme is the same and Cammie just rearranged the shapes to come up with unique card layouts. The Geometrical stamp and triangle punch are part of a bundle and save option at Stampin Up. When purchased as a bundle (wood #134941 & clear #134942) you can save 15%.
I am in the process of clearing off my tables in my craft room and thought I would create a card with the SAB Sweet Sorbet DSP. Pastels are not my thing but I have the paper and want to use it up so I decided to challenge myself to create using just what is on my table. So today’s card is just that. The DSP is retired and so is the coordinating Sweet Sorbet twine. I used the Geometrical stampset #133161 for the sentiment and the triangles. I used the coordinating triangle punch# 133375 to cut out the triangles. I accented one of the triangles with a flower punched using the itty bitty shapes #118309.
The Geometrical stampset and the coordinating triangle punch are a bundle and save item in the Stampin Up occasions catalog. When purchased together (wood #134941 and clear #134942) you can save 15%.
For today’s card, I wanted to showcase the wonderful Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Pack #132996 from the Stampin Up occasions catalog. The Fresh Prints DSP is a pack of 48 (4 each of 12 designs) of 4 1/2″ X 6 ” sheets of paper. The designs are all Fresh and Fun and makes for a perfect card. I used the triangle punch #133375 and the Geometrical stamp set #133161 and I finished the card with bakers twine. The Geometrical stamp and triangle punch are available as a bundle (wood #134941 and clear #134942) and save 15% when purchased together.

I used the Geometrical #133161 stampset for the sentiment and the triangles. The Triangles were punched using the coordinating Triangle Punch #133375 from the Stampin Up Occasions catalog. The Geometrical stamp set and the punch are a bundle and save item. When purchasing together you can save 15% (wood bundle #134941, clear bundle #134942).
For today’s card, I wanted to create the look of love etched in a tree so I punched out a Full Heart #119883 from a post it note and put it on a piece of crumb cake cardstock. I then inked up the woodgrain background #128763 and stamped the image onto the crumb cake cardstock. I removed the heart mask and added the sentiment from Hip Notes #133504 stampset and the arrow from the Geometrical stampset to give the etched look. I matted it on a double layer of pink pirouette and early espresso cardstock. I like it but don’t love it because it seems so flat but sometimes less really can be more!
