Today’s post is a card and a gift card holder all in one! I used the Stampin Up envelope punch board #133774. This was one of the projects we made a couple of months ago at my envelope punch card class. The DSP is the now retired I am me Stampin Up DSP paper collection. The gift card pocket is a wrap created using the Stampin Up envelope punch board. The sentiment is from the Happy Day (retired) stamp set and then cut using the Chalk Talk Framelit #129983. The banners are punched using the Banner #1333519 punch and attached to the Calypso Coral Bakers Twine.

In Whoville they say – that the Grinch’s small heart grew three sizes that day. And then – the true meaning of Christmas came through, and the Grinch found the strength of *ten* Grinches, plus two and so did Blair when she made these adorable Grinch giftcard holders for her corpsmen. They loved them so much that they have them hanging in their workspace. But then again who does not love the Grinch? Blair made these using her favorite Big Shot die – the top note#113463. She used Circles for the eyes and the beloved word window punch #119857 for the brows. She textured the brim of his hat with the petals a plenty folder #116824 and hand drew his face. She added a pocket on the backside using 1/2 a top note to tuck the gift card in.
Just when I thought I was done with the boutique boxes, I found a stray box and saw a post on how to modify the box to make it a gift card holder complete with a belly band that comes off to get to the reveal the gift card. I had to give it a try and I screamed with delight at how cute it is. This can be done using the boutique box kit in the Stampin Up spring catalog #129306. I hope I have convinced you on how cute these boxes are. The kit is available in the spring catalog through May 31, 2013.
