It is the 25th of the month so I am dedicated to posting a Christmas post. Today, I am featuring the Christmas package that I received from Cammie this past Christmas. Cammie started with a basic kraft package and she wrapped some kind of green twine used in gardening to form her tree. She added many bows to decorate the tree and topped it with a gold ribbon topper. The package was wrapped so cool that I did not want to open the package.
When I opened up the package I was completely surprised because Cammie took my favorite card ever that she made and had it made into an 8 x10 canvas print. Wow was it ever cool and a great gift idea.
For today’s birthday post, I am featuring Cammie’s beautifully wrapped packages using the now retired Stampin Up gift wrap. The wrapping paper was available in the Christmas catalog and is versatile enough to use for everyday. Cammie used Stampin Up fabric cut into strips to make a spectacular bow for package #1. For Package #2 Cammie used the Stampin Up gift wrap but then stamped the birthday greeting using Stampin Up alphabet stamps and punched them out with a circle punch. As with all Cammie’s packages the presentation is so spectacular that you don’t want to open the gift!
I had a friend that recently got married and needed a cute way to gift wrap her gift. I used the fabulous wrapping paper from Stampin Up holiday catalog (no longer available) and I found 2 left over candy canes to form the heart and added a banner with the congratulations sentiment. So cute.
For today’s post, I made custom Halloween gift wrap using white butcher block paper. I randomly stamped images from the super cute Stampin Up Tee Hee Hee stamp set #135125 from the Stampin Up holiday catalog. I repurpose some black and white non Stampin Up twine and affixed a tag made using the Merry Everything #137636 stamp set and coordinating Note Tag Punch #135860. The Merry Everything and Note Tag punch are a bundle and save item (wood #137635 and clear #135636). When Purchased together you save 15%.
Making custom gift wrap is a sure way to bring a smile to your recipients face and is super simple to do because it is just random stamping and a great way to use your stamps in a non traditional way.
