To put it simply, I love all things pumpkin so it was no surprise that when Stampin Up introduced this single stamp, Halloween Happiness #131859 in their holiday catalog I would have to order it first thing. I envisioned the card I was going to make in my head and forgot to order the Black and Orange glitter #132206 from the holiday catalog when I ordered the stamp so I placed another order to get the glitter. Once I got the glitter, I could not find my heat and stick powder so now I had to place order #3. Once I got all the gear needed to make this card, I had to play around to get used to using the heat and stick powder. I initially wanted the carved pumpkin to be done in glitter but I think it was just too much detail to look right so I opted for the 3rd pumpkin instead. You can’t tell from the picture, but I used the chevron #127749 embossing folder to texture the black cardstock background and then added a strip of Polka Dot Parade #126902 DSP and a piece of scallop dot ribbon (now retired).

I made this cute little party favor for my recent washi workshop and filled it with Halloween candy. I started out by using the chevron Tag a Bag #131370 from the Stampin Up catalog then textured cardstock rectangles and stamped the Halloween Happiness #131859 single stamp from the holiday catalog. Each layer was secured with none other than a piece of the Witches Brew Washi tape #132156. This turned out so great and was a fun and inexpensive way to give a treat to someone special that I decided to make some extras to pass out to my special little trick or treaters.
For today’s card I finally got around to using the all new Stampin Up Thinlits Circle card die#133480 that cuts, scores and creates a card that flips in just 1 easy step. How exciting and fun it was to create such a cute and interactive card in a few minutes. I used the Halloween Happiness single stamp#131859 from the Stampin Up holiday catalog and used the fun polka dot parade DSP # 126902 from the annual catalog to create the outside panel.
On the flip side of the card I made a handmade pumpkin and used the sentiment from the Halloween Happiness stamp set to make a banner. The thinlit circle card die was something I thought I could put off buying and I did not purchase the other Thinlit Label card die before I did a trial run. Now I plan to move the other Label card die up on my wish list!
