Cammie used my last years Valentine card to CASE (Copy and Share Everything) her card using Stampin Up products. The pink card base is textured using the adorning accents folder #125601 The XOX letters were cut from DSP using the Simple letterr dies and the 3D heart was cut 3 times using the Hearts a Flutter die #130159 from the Stampin Up spring catalog. The letters were assembled on a strip of whisper white cardstocl and accented with a piece of pleated satin ribbon on the top and bottom of the main strip. Cammie finished the card with a peek a boo heart displaying the be mine sentiment. I must say that I was flattered that Cammie chose one of my cards to use as inpiration to create her own version of this card.

Hearts a plenty
While killing time on Pinterest lately, I saw a heart shaped card and immediately thought of recreating the card using Stampin Up’s Heart framelits #125599. It is hard to see because of the issues with taking pictures of white on white but each heart is textured with a different embossing folder. This was a super quick card to make and it makes a big impression.

Take it to Heart
Sorry for the shadow in this card but I did not preview the picture before I sent the card so I guess my head got in the way! Anyway I made this card as a sympathy card for a friend who recently lost her mom. This card focuses on the Take it to Heart stamp set #125522 from the occasions mini catalog that coordinates beautifully with the the hearts framelits dies #125599. Lots of coloring was done to complete this card.
My hubby Valentine
Lately I have been into the whisper white on Whipser white layout and I created this card for my husband for Valentines Day. Sorry for the picture not being clear but it is really hard to take a photo or a scan of a pure white card. I punched a bunch of hearts from whisper white cardstock using the small heart punch #117193 and 3 hearts from real red cardstock. I folded all the white hearts in the middle and just glued the center so the hearts were not flat. I then folded 2 of the 3 hearts in have and glued them to one another and then glued that onto the unfolded heart. I used the Adorning accents textured impressions folder #125601 and embossed hearts along the bottom. I finsihed the card using just the Be Mine Valentine sentiment from the Candy Conversations #125560 and popped the white card front onto a white cardbase. Love how it turned out.

Valentine Challenge
The fun thing that sisters like to do is tease and dare one another to do crazy stuff. Well Cammie and I both received the Take it to Heart Stamp #125522 set for free from Stampin Up. The stamp set is not one that I normally would have purchased because of the boy and girl on a bike. I like vintage as much as anyone but there was something about this stamp that scared me but I loved the banner in the set and it was free so all is good. Cammie kept talking up the stamp set and how it worked so nicely with the new heart framelits #125599 (yada yada yada)and I would get on my soap box so I finally double dogged dared her to create a card using the boy and girl on a bike stamp from the Take it to Heart and like a good big sister she embraced my challenge and my hat is off to her for creating such a nice card that I am sharing with you today. Please note, she used every stamp in the set on one card and the coordinating framelit and I don’t think the card would be as good without the boy and girl on a bike. I was lucky enough to actually receive the card in the mail because it is the only one she made- it is truly a unique one of a kind. Love the color combination of chocolate chip and cherry cobbler. Not sure what my next challenge will be for her but I am sure I will think of it soon.
