Happy Veterans Day to all our military who have served or are currently serving. To honor all veterans, I made a quilt card using the hexagon punch #130919 and joined them point to point forming white stars. I then ran it through the honeycomb folder #129378 to give it a quilt look and feel.

Onto today’s post. This is a fun card Cammie made that features the Honeycomb texture folder #129378 as the background. She added the hand cut bees from the now retired Nature Walk stamp set but any set with bees would do. She added the sentiment by finding a the word “just” in any stamp set she had and then used an alphabet stamp set to create the “cuz”. The card was finished by wrapping a ribbon and tying it off with a knotted bow.
Let’s take a time out and wish all the father’s out there a happy fathers day. Cammie created today’s card using supplies from the now retired Stampin Up spring catalog. She made these for a masculine birthday, get well and even for father’s day. She used the honeycomb embossing folder #129378 available in the all new Stampin Up annual catalog. She then cut out hexagons from the retired Parker’s Pattern DSP. Good news Stampin Up now has a hexagon punch #130919 available which would have made this card a whole lot easier. BTW, the new catalog also has a six sided sampler stampset 130956 that is bundled with the punch but also coordinates with the honeycomb folder.
The watch on this card is very unique and realistic. Cammie used the now retired Dapper Dan stampset for the wrist and clock face. She put the clock face inside a bottle cap and mounted that on the stamped wristband. She showcased the watch inside the window frames collection framelits #129021.
Today’s card is a very simple layout using the Oh, Hello #130733 stamp set that was carried over from the Stampin Up spring catalog to the current Stampin Up 2013-2014 annual catalog. I was so happy it was carried over because I bought it and did not have a lot of time to work with it much. I decided to pair this stamp set with the now retired Tea Time DSP. The background is embossed with the fabulous (also glad it was carried over) honey comb textured folder # 129378. Great news Stampin Up also introduced in the new catalog a hexagon punch #130919 and coordinating stampset called Six-Sided #130956 that will work well with the honeycomb folder. Yeah! I cannot wait for these items to arrive.
If you have not had time to check out the Stampin Up Spring catalog you are truly missing out. It is full of lots of fun and new products for everyone. There is enough product to go around for all types of crafters. Card makers will love all pretty papers and embellishments, Scrapbookers will love the wonderful selection of 12 X12 double sided Designer Series Paper and Punches and Stampers will love the new and fresh stamps available. My card today showcases a little bit of everything.
The cardbase is textured using the Honeycomb Ebossing folder #129378 and then I randomly filled the honeycombs with paper from the Print Poetry DSP paper stack #129312. I do wish Stampin Up would have introduced a punch to coordinate with the honeycomb folder. The Print Poetry pack is perfect for card makers because each sheet is 4 1/2 x 6 1/2 in size and each pack has 48 sheets ( 4 EA of 12 designs). The butterflies are punched using the all new bitty butterfly punch #129406. The sentiment is from the Ciao Baby stampset #129648 and punched with the petite curly label #129405 (free SAB item) and then layered on the cute 7/8 ” scallop circle #129404. I added a handcut banner and popped that onto an apothecary accent label #127003.
Today’s card is made using mostly new products from the Stampin Up Spring catalog. I started with a summer starfruit base and embossed it with my new favorite textured impressions folder- Honeycomb #129378. I then took 3 pieces of coordinating DSP from the Print Poetry DSP paper pack #129312 and cut them using the Labels #125598 and the Apothecary #127003 Framelits. I added the bitty butterfly #129406 and the sentiment from the Petite Pairs stampset #122497. I loved the way this turned out and I made it for my cardswaps for the sympathy swap.
Today’s card is packed full with new products from both the Stampin Up annual catalog and the Sale-A-bration catalog. At first site, my favorite item in the Stampin Up sprng catalog was the Honeycomb embossing folder. The bad part is that there is not a coordinatinag punch to go with the folder. So I got creative and just embossed my paper from the Print Poetry DSP paper stack # 139312 and then snipped the 6 sides and randomly filled in the honeycombs. I added butterflies punched using the new Bitty Butterfly punch #129406. The sentiment is stamped using the Ciao, Baby! stampset #129648 and is punched using the petite curly label punch that is FREE in the sale-a-bration catalog with a qualifying $50 order. I also added a 7/8 inch scallop circle #129404 behind the sentiment and then layered it on a framelit and a hand cut banner.
Today’s card is another one of Cammie’s Valentine card cafe and features new products from the all new Stampin Up Spring Catalog: the Hearts a Flutter stamp set #129252 and the coordinating Hearts a Flutter Framelits #130159 and my favorite product- the Honeycomb textured embossing folder #129375 on the real red Core’dinations cardstock #129320. Cammie finished the card using the raspberry ripple 3/8 ” stitched satin ribbon #126845.
