I always create a non spooky card for a few of my friends that don’t like scary Halloween. I used the Monster Bash #150447 DSP and added a a few pumpkins from the now retired Jar of Haunts stamp set. The sentiment is from the Spooktacular Bash #150544 stamp set and was stamped onto a piece cut from the Ornate Frames #150664 Dies.

So I had these stamp sets from last year and never got around to using them so I decided to use them for Halloween cards this year and added a hat cut from the current Spooky Night #144610 DSP from the Stampin Up Holiday catalog. I stamped the background using the Ghoulish Grunge retired stamp set and added the mummy, pumpkin and sentiment from the now retired Jar of Haunts stamp set.
I love the Foil Frenzy Specialty DSP #144125 from Stampin Up and I love all things halloween so why not combine the two into a fantastic Halloween card. I cut a window into the front of the foil DSP using the Layering Circle Framelits #141705. I used the Jar of Haunts (now retired) stamp set to add the sweet little Jack O Lantern.
Its always fun to make a Grinch card for the post holidays Cammie created her own red and green background using the dot from the Stampin Up Work of Art #134111 stampset. The grinch face was done using the Jar of Haunts #142247 stampset and onto the Jar of Love #141587. The jar was cut using the Everyday Jars Framelits #141490. The cute Santa hat is from the Jolly Friends stampset #142112 and punched with the coordinating Jolly Hat Builder Punch #141847. The sentiment is from the Here for You stampset #142164.
The beauty of pinterest, blogs, and other websites allows us to be inspired by creations of other stampers. Without knowing it, both Cammie and must have seen the same concept with for using the Stampin Up Jar of Haunts #142247 stampset. Cammie’s card is on the left and mine is on the right. We also both used the Ghoulish Grunge #142238 to add just enough ghastly grunge to the background for our jar of haunts friends.
I drew the inspiration for this Halloween card from the mini treat bag on pg 55 of the Stampin Up holiday catalog. I just stamped the jars from the Jar of Haunts #142247 and then went to town coloring them with my Copic markers to fill the jars with just enough spookiness for the Halloween season.
Today’s card is another sweet and non scary Halloween card for my scaredy cat family and friends. I added a wide strip of DSP from the Stampin Up Playful Palette DSP paper stack #141657 and a smaller strip from the Stampin Up Halloween Night Specialty DSP #142022. I then stamped 4 pumpkins from the Jar of Haunts #142247 stampset. The top pumpkin is trimmed on both sides and a jack o lantern face added to add some fun to the pile of pumpkins. The stem and sentiment were also from the Jar of Haunts set.
Every year when I make Halloween cards I have to include a design that is not too scary for my friends that are afraid of ghosts and such. Today’s card is one of my not so spooky cards. I used the all new and fabulous Cable Knit #143537 Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder from Stampin Up. The Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folders take embossing to the next level, with deeper, more detailed impressions than standard embossing folders—great for card fronts and accents. You must try it for yourself.
For the main panel I stamped the pumpkins from Jar of Haunts #142247 stamp set from the Stampin Up holiday catalog. I hand cut each pumpkin and then placed it on the card panel. I used a mask to sponge around the edges. The sentiment is also from the Jar of Haunts. I matted the panel on a piece of DSP from the Halloween Night DSP #142022.
Today’s post are 3 cards done using the same layout, background DSP and the Jar of Haunts #142247 and the coordinating Everyday Jars Framelits #141490. The Stampin Up Jar of Haunts photopolymer stamp set is a jarring set of Halloween images that will fill you with just enough spookiness of the season. I paired a different jar with a piece of the Stampin Up Halloween Nights DSP #142022. The sentiment is from the Mr. Funny Bones #142245.
Let’s face it, I love DSP and I love halloween so I went with my go to layout to showcase all the wonderful pieces of DSP are in this years Halloween Night #142022 DSP collection from Stampin Up. I stamped the eyes from the Jar of Haunts #142247 directly on the DSP and then made a jar of candy corn using the Jar of Haunts and the coordinating Everyday Jar Framelits #141490. This jarring set of Halloween images will fill you with all the spookiness of the season. To complete the paneled card, I added the sentiment is from the now retired Spooky Bingo Bits.
