Today’s card serves 2 purposes: I am officially retired from my 9 to 5 job and I used this card as the thank you cards for the gifts I received from my friends and family. The design is simple and features the Large Letters Framelits #141712 dies from Stampin Up.

Today’s card is one of my favorite cards this season mostly because I love using the Large Letters Framelits #141712 from Stampin Up. I started out by texturing the poppy parade with the Tufted Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder #146335. Then I used 2 strips of the Under the Mistle.toe DSP #146921paper before adding the Large Letters. For the O I hand cut out a poinsettia from the Under the Mistletoe DSP and added a couple of leaves using the Leaf Trim #146905.
Happy Halloween! I saved my favorite Halloween card featuring the Stampin Up Toil and Trouble #147531 DSP for last. I hand cut out a witches hat from the DSP and added to the DSP strip with the Large Letter Framelits #141712 for a big Halloween BOO!
Today’s post is one of the alternatives that I came up with for the April 2018 My Paper Pumpkin You Are My Anchor kit. I love the paper pumpkin kits but this You are My Anchor kit rocked except for the size of the cards so I used the kits with other stuff in my stash including the Large Letter Framelits #141712 and the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits #141497 to create fun thank yous for my customers that place orders in June!
Happy Birthday to my music loving, vinyl collecting better half- Brad! I made this card to celebrate Brad’s birthday. It features the True Gentleman DSP #145593 from the Stampin Up Occasions Catalog. I cut the letters from the Large Letters #141712 Framelits and made the record using Circle punches. I added a piece of the 3/8″ Navy Corduroy ribbon #145597 to add the perfect masculine finish. Happy Birthday and keep on Rockin!
I love making the eclipse cards using the Stampin Up Large Letters Framelits #141712. Before cutting out the letters I used the candles from the now retired Merry Patterns Christmas stamp set. Once the design was complete, I cut the letters out and also in black. The letters were layered, popped and placed back in the negative space to achieve the eclipse look.
