One of my customers and very deat friends started a new hobby- quilting so to offer her encouragement I wanted to send her a “quilted card”. This card was super fun to make and uses the Lattice Bigz Die #115958. I cut several lattices from various pieces of DSP and then one in very vanilla. I then pieced the quilt together by placing lattice pieces under the vanilla lattice. I then mounted that on a coordinating piece of DSO and ran the whole piece thru the Big Shot using square lattice textured embossing folder to create the quilted look. The best part about this card is the expression I stamped on the inside using a non- SU stamp set (Sorry Shelli). It says “Glad you are in my block of friends”. I am so proud of my friend because she recently completed her first quilt. Someday, I too want to take up quilting but not until I retire from my day job!

Today’s post is a continuation of the Languange of Friendship series of cards in the card cafe by Cammie. The beauty of Stampin Up products is how everything works together: Like the Language of Friendship stamp #122752 and the Bird Builder punch #117191. The frame is textured using the designer frames #123130 folder and then cut out to showcase the beautiful bird. The lattice die#115958 and the scallop edge border punch #119882 complete the look of this card.
Happy Birthday to our sweet friend Debbie Mason. Since it is Debbie’s birthday, we are featuring 2 cards to honor her on her special day.

Because Debbie loves pink, I created a pretty in pink birthday card for her. I created a pink rose using the bird builder punch #117191 and attached it to a piece of lattice from the lattice die #115958 and mounted it on a piece of whisper white cardstock. The card front is whisper white embossed with perfect polka dot textured folder #117335. I tied a piece of pretty in pink satin ribbon #117289 and punched a piece of pretty in pink from the decorative label punch #120907 and stamped coordinating image from the four frames stamp set 123442 to create an very pretty and elegant birthday card.
