I love banners and don’t think I will ever tire of them. I have used them in all my paper crafting and scrapbooking long before they hit it big and became hot. Too me a banner is classic and never goes out of style. Today’s card uses a banner layout that I love and features the Stampin Up DSP called,Comfort Cafe #126898. The accent is layered with the Apothecary Accents framelit #127003 and the coordinating Layered Labels stampset #127072. The completed accent lays on top of a peice of Summer Starfruit 3/8 ” stiched satin ribbon #126846. I love how this card turned out and it works for a make or female recipient.

Lots of texture, layering and product were used on this card and features one of my favorite I am glad I bought bundles from the Stampin Up Holiday Catalog- the Scentsational Season #121190. I used most of the stamps from this set including stamping the steam on vellum using stazon ink. All images were stamped and then cut out using the coordinating framelit. The card background is the Cherry Cobbler Core’dinations Cardstock textured with the woodgrain embossing folder #127821 and then sanded to give it a distressed look. I then layered the scallop circle #113468 and the Circles #2 Originals die #114526 and from there layered my scentsational pieces. This card truly warmed the hearts of my workshop attendees.
Cammie also loves to layer and one of her workshop Christmas cards is plum full of layering. The delicate doilies sizzlet #126999 serves as the anchor and then the Layered Labels stamp #127072 and coordinating Apothecary Accents Framelits #127003 and the focal image is stamped using the Hostess set Priority Mail #127044 and the card is finished with basic rhinestones.
