For today’s post I am posting a card and a treat because I love a card that has a theme and a play on words and when you can add a treat that makes it a double bonus! This is my favorite card I made for Halloween this year and it features the Spooky Night DSP # 144610 and I used the image from the Beautiful You #143637 and colored her in with my Lemon Lime Twist Stampin Write Marker and dressed her with coordinating patterned paper from the Spooky Night collection and added a hat hand cut from the Spooky Night paper. I modified the sentiment from the Beautiful You set by adding a banner with a Boo from the now retired Mr. Funny Bones stamp set.
Now to carry out the the Boo-tiful Theme, I created a treat using some witch candy I found at Dollar Tree. I just did a simple reverse Matchbook design and cut an oval frame to showcase the witch. I made these to give to all the Boo-tiful ladies in my life.
Happy belated Labor Day! For some reason this post did not post as scheduled so you will see two posts today. I love the softness of today’s post I randomly stamped the daisy from the Stampin Up Daisy Delight #143669 photopolymer stamp set. I then stamped the girl from the Beautiful You #143004 stamp set onto an oval cut with the Layering Oval Framelits #141706. I dressed the dancer with a skirt punched from the Daisy punch #143713 and colored in the bodice with soft sky ink and a blender pen. I finished by adding some rhinestone bling.
I have been having a lot of fun with combining the patterned papers in the Succulent Garden DSP #142778 paper collection. I used a piece of retired ribbon to serve as a barrier to the 2 busy patterned papers. I stamped the image from the Perfect Mix #142933 onto a piece of the Watercolor paper and then colored the image with ink and an aqua painter pen. I cut the focal piece with the Layering Ovals Framelits #141706 from Stampin Up.
The Succulent Garden and the Perfect Mix stamp set along with a lot of other great products are on the Stampin Up Retirement List and are discounted. The items on the Retirement List are only available while supplies last or May 31st which ever comes first.
