I have some friends that are rockstars and here is a fun card to honor their birthdays. Every once in I while, I like to create a stamp free card and when I do I turn to my first love- paper piecing thru punch art. I used lots of Stampin Up punches to create the guitar and added fishing wire to string the guitar. Once the guitar was done, I placed it on a piece of the Stampin Up Back to Black DSP (now retired) and added the sentiment using the Hello You #137363 and the Little Letter Thinlits. Rock on!

So Gryffindorable
My friend loves all things Harry Potter so when she got pregnant I knew that I was going to buy her the Harry Potter onsies designed to wear each month so that you can see their growth over the course of the year. The gift was perfect too because she is having a boy and the theme of the nursery is Harry Potter. So to keep in theme with my gift, I made a baby card using a onesie die for a pattern I hand drew and cut out the lightning bolt. The onesie was attached to the clothes line with a mini paper clip. The background was textured using the Stampin Up Brick Wall TIEF #138288. I distressed the brick wall using the Gorgeous Grunge #130514stamp set.
For the sentiment on the inside of the card, I cut the letters using the Little Letters Thinlits #133730 from Stampin Up to complete the themed card.
For the gift, I added the onsies on a piece to twine and attached each onesie with a mini clothespin to create a continues chain of Harry Potter onesies. I have also added a close up of the super cute onesies.
Oh Boy OH Boy- How Fan{stache}tic
Today’s card is a fun interactive card I made for my friend who will be a grandma to twin boys. I used the now retired Circle Card Framelits die for the base. I added a piece of the Stampin Up Schoolhouse #138187 DSP. I cut the letters using the Little Letters Thinlits Dies #133730 and the Mustaches were cut using the now retired .Mustache thinlits. The baby was just a 1″ circle punch with hand drawn face.
Twin babies will be Fan{stache}tic for grandma because she can spoil them and send them home!
Party this Way
Nothing says college party like a Red Solo cup and so I stacked the computer printed and hand cut red solo cups to make a 21st birthday card for my nieces adorable boyfriend. I started with a Chalkboard card front using the all new Stampin Up Chalkboard paper #137786from the Stampin Up Occasions catalog. After stacking the cups, I added the Stampin Up Party This Way (retired stamp set) arrow with a brad that when moved reveals a hand written message in white gel pen.
For the inside message I combined a handwritten message with the key party words cut out from the Little Letters thinlits from the Stampin Up annual catalog.
U &ME
Todays card is so simple and easy that it is crazy. It involves no stamping which is sometimes a refreshing bonus. This card features the Stacked with Love DSP pack #137779 from the Stampin Up occasions catalog. The ampersand is my all time special character on the keyboard so this paper was used pretty quickly to make a whimsical Valentines day card. I added letters cut from the Little Letters thinlits #133730 from the Stampin Up annual catalog to spell out the Valentine message.
