Serene Fox

2016_01_11IMG_0108

Today’s post is a fantastic all occasions card that features the Stampin Up Wilderness Awaits stamp set # 138962. It doesn’t matter if you live in the mountains or in the heart of metropolis. You can invite a little bit of the wilderness anywhere. These realistic images are especially suited for masculine projects and Cammie paired the sleeping fox with the now retired but coming back soon Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

Take a bite out of Halloween

2014_10_09IMG_5326 2014_10_09IMG_53272014_10_09IMG_5329For today’s post I used the Stampin Up Halloween Bites#137090 MDS Template and had the pieces for this adorable Halloween treat professionally printed.  Once I got the pieces back I hand cut and assembled the coffin.  I then cut out Dracula and added a miniature candy treat and wrapped his cape and secured it with a hand cut coordinating belly band.  Before resting Dracula in his coffin, I added a piece of red tissue (satin would work too) to make the coffin more realistic.  I love the way these turned out and decided they were too much work to give to my favorite kid trick or treaters so I decided to give them to my special adult Halloween lovers who will appreciate the effort put forth in these tasty treats.  For the kids, I just plan to give out the draculas and hope their Halloween does not bite!

Petal Parade -MDS Case

2014_03_25mdsSAB_Petals Parade-001

Today’s MDS post is a CASE from a card I saw on Pinterest using the Petal Parade Stamp set #133602. The Petaks Parade is a free stamp set from the Stampin Up  Sale-a-bration catalog and I did not have it.  I do have the digital version though and it was included in the One Big Sale-a-bration 2014 digital ensemble (free item).  It was fun creating this card in MDS using the free One Big Sale-a-Bration 2014 digital ensemble and combining it with other digital elements that I have.

The Stampin Up Sale – a bration is going on through March 31 so hurry and stock up to get your free products from the special Sale0-a-bration catalog for every $50 spent in regular merchandise from the Stampin Up occasions catalog, the Stampin Up 2013-2014 annual catalog, digital downloads and clearance rack.

It’s Tuesday so that is new digital download day at Stampin Up so be sure to check out the new digital downloads at the Stanpin Up site.  Every Tuesday, Stampin Up introduces new downloads available.

Fade away lil guy

2014_02_18seeya_later2-001

Today’s post is another My Digital Studio, MDS, card I made using the free digital ensemble- One Big Sale-a-bration 2014 download available during the annual Sale-a- Bration campaign.  During Sale-a-bration, you earn free products from the Stampin Up Sale-a-bration catalog for every $50 you spend in merchandise.  I love the One Big Sale-A-Bration 2014 download because it includes all the SAB stampsets and the Sweet Sorbet DSP and the coordinating accessories.

To make this card, I used the See ya later alligator stamp and cropped the alligator out using the crop tool.  I then changed the color to gumball green and then copied him 3 more times and place him in a row.  I then used the mirror image tool to rotate him and then copied the image 3 more times..  Then I grouped both rown and copied them again to end up with 20 alligators.  To create the fade away of each alligator, I changed the opacity by 5% starting with 100% for the first one (then 95%, then 90% and so on). I added a heart and filled it with glimmer paper to the last alligator.  I then added the sentiment but this time I just cropped only the words (not the alligator) and then colored the text.  I added a starfruit banner and my card was done!

Remember today is digital download day at Stampin Up so bebsure to check out the newest downloads for MDS available on the Stampin Up site.

Bite Me

2014_02_11SEEYALATER-001

Today is a Tuesday so that means it is Digital Download day at Stampin Up.  Be sure to check out the newest downloads for MDS available on the Stampin Up site.

Also on going right now it is the most wonderful time of the year at Stampin Up.  It is  Sale-a-bration time  and it is on going now thru March 31st.  During sale-a-bration, you earn free products including 2 digital download kits for every $50 spend in qualifying merchandise (before shipping and handling).  Be sure to check out all the other free products in the Sale-a-bration catalog and place your order today.

Stampin Up’s MDS software and downloads make it so easy to design cards in a snap.  Today’s post is a card that I made in under 10 minutes from start to finish using the free digital ensemble called One Big Sale-a-bration 2014, #134976, in the Sale-a-bration catalog.  This ensemble is everything in the Sale-a-bration catalog in digital form.  I was inspired by the Lacoste like alligator from the digital brush called See Ya Later to make today’s card. Using the crop feature, I cut out the alligator, changed his color to garden green and resized him to randomly place him on the sahara sand background. I then filled the pennant shape with a piece of the digital Sweet Sorbet DSP and colored the sentiment using the coloring tool inside the white oval and matted the oval underneath. Done!

Don’t be fooled by the title of this post because I used  the crop feature to take a bite out of the see ya later stamp.
