I love a black and white cards even at Christmas time. Adding a pop of color (Old Olive) to this classic but retired Merry Little Christmas DSP from Stampin Up created a very fun Christmas card and using up old Christmas paper makes room for new Christmas paper in the 2018-2019 Stampin Up Annual catalog and the soon to be released Holiday Catalog. Speaking of the Stampin Up annual catalog be sure to check out the DSP Paper sale on going at Stampin Up.

Todays card is one that I made using products that were intended for Christmas cards and made a baby girl card. This card features the background paper from the now retired Merry Little Christmas DSP. I added the sentiment from the retired Watercolor Christmas stamp set onto a Stitched Shapes #145372 piece . I added total cuteness with the Powder Pink Bitty Bow #144217.
This card is what I call my Dickens Christmas card. It makes me think of Christmas in the Charles Dickens era! I layered the Merry Music DSP #144623 over the Merry Little Christmas DSP #144621 and then cut the lamp post from the Christmas Lamppost Thinlits #144675 and a banner from the coordinating Brightly Lit #144807 stamp set from Stampin Up. All the products for this card are on the Stampin Up Year End Sales Event List. Be sure to check out the list and place your order because the items are good while supplies last or Jan 2nd, which ever comes first.
Today’s Christmas card is a simple design using images from the Stampin Up Watercolor Christmas #144835 stampset to create the random trees for the background. I colored them with Copic markers. I added strips from the Merry Little Christmas #DSP collection and stamped the sentiment onto a Stitched Shapes circle #145372 with a sweet little red bow.
I used the October My Paper Pumpkin Pining for Plaid kit to create 2 alternative designs. Both cards use the card bases from the Stampin Up My Paper Pumpkin kit and I added a strip of DSP from the Merry Little Christmas #144621 collection and added the printed card from the kit. For the top card, I used my Stampin Up trimmer to create segments and layered them with pop dots to create the telescoping effect.
Today it is snowy and aand thought it was a great day to share the sweet hot chocolate match book and the cutest cup of marshmallows. The match book was sized to fit a single pouch of hot chocolate. I covered the front panel with a piece of Merry Little Christmas DSP #144621 and then added the mittens stamped with the Smitten Mitten #144621 stampset and then cut out using the coordinating Many Mittens #144672 Thinlits from Stampin Up. For the little cup I covered the cup using the Merry Music DSP #144623 and added a snowflake cut from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits #143751.
Both the Many Mittens Thinlits and the Smitten Mitten stamp set are on the Stampin Up Retirement list and are both discounted. Be sure to check out the Stampin Up Year End Retirement List to get some great deals and products while supplies last.
I love simple layouts for my card designs and this one is a classic layout that packs a whole lotta punch. I used the a strip of the Merry Little Christmas DSP #144621 and added a thin daffodil strip just beneath to make it pop. I hand cut the sunflowers from the Painted Autumn DSP # 144613 from Stampin Up and then added a black mat and re-cut them out again. I added the sentiment to a double matted Stitched Shapes Framelits #144613.
