Today’s cards are the same concept because Cammie wanted to use her powders that she purchased a year ago – Pumpkin pie #123106 and Tempting Turquoise #122950. She swiped versa mark in 2 directions directly on the whisper white and then embossed them in turquoise and pumpkin pie. The oval was stamped using the Oh, Hello #130733 stampset and then cut using the Ovals Framelits collection #129381. She added a sentiment and created a quick card.

Today’s card is another card that I made using some retired Stampin Up DSP. I used pieces of 4 different papers from the Tea Time DSP collection and used my 1 3/4 inch punch #119350 to punch circles and then used the oval framelits #129381 and randomly scattered them on the whisper white card front. I added a hand cut banner stamped with the now retired Very Vintage stamp set and a flower from the flower trim that I inked using Midnight Muse. Although the products on this card are no longer available from Stampin Up, the card layout is fresh and can be used with any paper collection
Today’s card is a very simple layout using the Oh, Hello #130733 stamp set that was carried over from the Stampin Up spring catalog to the current Stampin Up 2013-2014 annual catalog. I was so happy it was carried over because I bought it and did not have a lot of time to work with it much. I decided to pair this stamp set with the now retired Tea Time DSP. The background is embossed with the fabulous (also glad it was carried over) honey comb textured folder # 129378. Great news Stampin Up also introduced in the new catalog a hexagon punch #130919 and coordinating stampset called Six-Sided #130956 that will work well with the honeycomb folder. Yeah! I cannot wait for these items to arrive.
Since Cammie is still on her tropical vacation for a few more days we are continuing with the tropical/ beachy posts until her return. Today’s card is one that Cammie did that is packed full with techniques and product mostly from the Stampin Up spring catalog. The background of this card uses the Oh hello #130733 stampset and bleach on river rock cardstock. Then the Mambo frame was stamped using the mambo ink and the Oh Hello stamp set. The center was cut out using the oval framelits #129381 and the flowers were embossed on watercolor cardstock in black powder using the Secret Garden Stampset #129144, then the flowers were colored with blender pens and mambo, tangerine tango and pumpkin pie inks. The flowers were cut out using the Secret Garden coordinating framelits #129372. The card was finished with a piece of ruffled ribbon in lucky limeade.
Cammie made sympathy cards using this design but she also made birthday cards by swapping out the sentiment.
Happy Easter one and all! Most all the product used on this card comes from the Spring catalog. I started with a so saffron card base. I made the background using the Honeycomb textured embossing folder #129378. The DSP is a strip of Tea for Two DSP and edged with a Calyspo coral scalloped edge #119882. To create the egg, I stamped the Oh Hello #130733 and I added a rhinestone to mimic a brad hinge. I added the peep made using the bird builder punch #117191 and a pearl for the eye. I finished the card with a piece of the calypso coral ruffled ribbon #122976 and the sentiment is from the Oh hello stampset.
