Here’s one final card that I made using the June 2017 My Paper Pumpkin kit from Stampin Up. The kit was called One in a Melon and was intended to be used as a gift bag complete with tissue paper that I used as the card front bottom layer. All the rest of the goods on the card were cut down and sized to fit a card.
I think it’s a fitting tribute to summers unofficial end with the last piece of watermelon. Enjoy the upcoming Labor Day celebration!
Today I am hanging onto summer and showcasing another alternative design to the Stampin Up June 2017 One in A Melon My Paper Pumpkin kit.
I love getting the My Paper Pumpkin kits from Stampin Up in the mail each month and was so excited for the One in a Melon kit except it was intended to be used as a gift bag. I decided to cut the bag down and use it for the background layer. For the main panel, I just stamped the images to make my watermelon slices every which way. Super cute and easy.
I made a few cards using the supplies in the Stampin Up One in a Melon My Paper Pumpkin kit. The kit was intended to be used as gift bags with the watermelon tissue paper but cut the bag down to make the rind of the watermelon card front and used the tissue paper to create the simple design just in time to celebrate National Watermelon day.
