For today’s card, I used leftover DSP from last year and added a stamped easel and expression from the Stampin Up Painter’s Palette #128751 stamp set. I added a punched heart with a bit of bling to create a fun Valentine.

For today’s card I was feeling very artistic and filled my jars with paint using the Stampin Up Jar of Love #141587 stamp set and used the coordinating Everday Jars Framelits #141490 to cut out the blue jar. I added paint splashes using the Stampin Up Gorgeous Grunge #130514 stamp set. The sentiment from the Painters Palette #141907 stamp set was perfect to tie it all together.
Happy Birthday to my dear and oldest friend Kim. We have been friends for 45 years and with that I wanted to show her just how much her friendship means to me. I used the Stampin Up Playful Palette DSP #141657 for the card strip and the for the canvas on the easel. The easel stamp and the sentiment are from the Painter’s Palette # 141907 stamp set. Have a colorful Birthday Kim!
My inner artist self came out with this card. I used 4 of the 5 Stampin Up in colors cut out using the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits #141497. The swirls and scribbles were adhered to a piece of the fun Playful Palette #141657 DSP Paper stack and finished by adding the sentiment from the Stampin Up Painted Palette #141910 a punched circle piece. Simple, Playful and Fun!
Continuing with my Christmas in July cards, today is one of my favorites. The background DSP is now retired. For the main panel, I created the tree by splashing some color using the Stampin Up Painter’s Palette #141907 stamp set. I added the tree trunk using a partial piece of a washi tape punch. The sentiment was cut using the Christmas Greetings Thinlits #139659 and the coordinating Holly Jolly Greetings #139879. To finish I added multi colored sequins and a gold glimmer star.
Today’s post is a favorite from the all new Stampin Up catalog and features the Painter’s Palette#141907 and the Playful Palette DSP Paper stack #141657. For fun, I cut out the center if the frame and placed the piece of DSP behind it to look like a real canvas. It would have been way easier if I had the all new Layerig Squares Framelits #141708.
I recently traveled to the United States Naval Academy for the Induction Ceremony of my niece, Elizabeth in the class of 2020. As a plebe at USNA they undergo a lot of challenges to test their mental and phyical toughness. USNA recommends sending cards and packages throughout plebe summer to help encourage them and show support. Today’s post is the first card I made to mail her. The background DSP is retired but I used the Stampin Up Swirly Bird #141749 photopolymer stamp set and the coordinating Swirly Scribbles Thinlits #141497 to create the main nautical focal point. I used the Stampin Up Painter’s Palette stamp set #141910 to add a splash of color for the sky. Go Navy!
