Cammie is starting of the Valentine season with a thank you card featuring the fabulous Love You Sew #140640 Stampin Up Hostess set from the Occasions catalog. The beautiful DSP is from the Love Blossoms DSP paper stack #140548 also from the occasions catalog. Cammie created a floral spread using the Petite Petals #133155 stamp set and the coordinating Petite Petals punch #133322. Love the complete look of this card!
I believe that a beautiful handmade card has healing power and today’s card is a great example of that. I created a white on white card so that I could create a window using the Windows Frames Collection #129021 and then put a lattice piece (no longer available) behind the cut window. I then used the new in color Lost Lagoon ink and cardstock and used the Flower Shop#130942 and Petite Petals #133155 stamp sets and the coordinating Pansy Punch #130698 and Petite Petals punch #133322. The leaves were punched using the Bird Builder #117191. The sentiment is from the Fabulous Phrases (no longer available) and stamped it on a whisper white banner from the Bitty Banners #129267. I finished the card by adding a piece of Lost Lagoon #133672 3/8″ Stitched Satin ribbon.
Lots of Layering makes a crafter happy especially when it is white on white! Cammie rocked this wedding card with so many layers and so much texturing that I don’t know where to begin. So I am not going to go into the details but this gorgeous wedding card features the now retired Mr & Mrs stampset and several of the flower punches (Blossom #125603, Pansy#130698, Petite Petals #133322 & Boho Blossoms #119858) still available in the current Stampin Up catalog. The flowers were textured and layered to create a beautiful bouquet for the perfect wedding card.
Today’s post features my favorite Little Leaves sizzlet that is no longer available. I was so sad that this little guy was no longer available. But good news is that the new Flower Frenzy Bigz L die has a leaf included with a bunch of great flowers that will serve as a nice substitute. YAY I have that die on order and plan to use it soon.
The background of this card is textured with the Arrows textured impressions embossing folder #132187. I then used the Starburst Framelit 3132967 used to anchor my floral design. I used the Pansy Punch #130698, the Petite Petals Punch #133322 and the now retired itty bitty Punch for the center. Good News… there is a new itty bitty accents punch in the new Stampin Up catalog that will be a great substitute for flower centers. I completed the card with a hand cut banner and appropriate sentiment.
For today’s card, I kept it simple but wanted to make sure I used up a scrap piece of the watercolor wonder DSP. This DSP is beautiful and will not be available after June1. That is very sad but wait until you see all the new and fun DSP and everything else in the all new 2014-2015 Stampin Up catalog.
For this card I used a white card base and a white panel and I used the Blossom punch #125603 in the panel to create a peek-a-boo flower. I then used the Occasions#129387 paper piercing template to outline the flower and then placed a scrap piece of Watercolor Wonder DSP #132994 behind the main panel so that the peek-a-boo hole is filled in with beautiful floral images from the DSP. I then stamped on gumball green (retiring cardstock color) a flower from the Petite Petals #133155 and then punched it with the coordinating Petite Petals punch #133322 and added it to the flower center. I finished the card by adding a basic pearl and a piece of retiring 3/8 “stitched gumball green satin ribbon #126848 and the Kindness Matters sentiment (retired stamp set)
Today’s card is the birthday card I created for our friend Yvonne’s birthday. In case you missed it we featured Yvonne as a guest designer on Tuesday for her birthday. Today’s card looks intricate and complicated. It is intricate but not complicated if you use the fabulous Hexagon Hive Thinlit #132965 from the Stampin Up Occasions catalog. A bit of advice when using the thinlits especially the Hexagon Hive is to use a piece of wax paper between the cardstock and the die to ease with the Big Shot cutting. I used the Petite Petals Stampset #133155 to stamp flowers under the hexagon openings and then used the stamps and coordinating Petite Petals punch to randomly add flowers on top of the Hexagon cut out. The petite petals stamp and punch are available as a bundled item and when purchased together (wood #134821 and clear #134822). To complete the card, I added a modern label #119849 punched piece with the sentiment in a word window#119857 and some rhinestone bling.

Today’s post is a simple hello card featuring products in the Stampin Up Occasions (products available though 1 June) and the Stampin Up Sale-a-bration (free items available through 31 March) catalogs. The Occasions catalog is a supplement catalog to the Stampin Up annual catalog and contains new and fun items and the sale-a-bration catalog has items that you earn for free with every $50 spent in regular merchandise from either the occasions or annual catalogs.
The background DSP is from the Sweet Sorbet #133521 (free item in SAB catalog). The tag is cut from the chalk talk framelits and the sentiment is stamped using the Simply Celebrate #133224 stampset and the 3 shades of twine are from the Sweet Sorbet accessory pack (free item in SAB catalog). I accented the tag with a layered flower stamped with the Petite Petals #133155 stampset and the coordinating Petite Petals punch #133322. The petite petals stamp and punch are available as a bundled item (wood:134821 & clear:134822) and you save 15% when purchasing them together..
