I love pumpkins and todays card is a sweet and simple pumpkin created using the Extra Large Oval Punch #119859 and the Pansy Punch #130698 from the Stampin Up annual catalog. I added the stem using a knotted piece of the 3/8″ Mossy Meadow Stitched Satin Ribbon #133670. The sweet little pumpkin is placed on a piece of Color Me Autumn DSP #135820 from the Stampin Up Holiday catalog. I added a hand cut banner with the sentiment from the Good Greetings stampset.
A Big shout out goes to my dear friend Amy who is celebrating her birthday today and someone who I am thankful to call a friend! Happy Birthday Amy!
Today’s card is a quick fall card that I made using the leftover scraps from my Halloween cards that I decided to clean up by making a useful card. I textured the 1″ strips using the Vintage Wallpaper Texture folder #120175 that was also laying on my table and rounded the corners on the 2 outermost strips. The leaves were laying around from another fall project and the stem was a ribbon scrap that I found on the floor. I finished the card with a knot from the 7/8 inch cotton ribbon and love how this turned out.
Happy Halloween! Today is my all time favorite Holiday and so I want to treat you all to 2 posts today. Yes 2 spectacular punch art cards- Mine and then later today Cammie’s devine Halloween card will be sure to delight you.
But until then I would like to introduce you to Jack. I love how he turned out and continue to amaze myself with how a simple stamp- free card can have such an impact. When I created my Jack from punches I knew this would be my favorite of the bunch until I got Cammie’s Halloween card in the mail. Stay tuned later today for another post. I promise it is not a trick!

Today’s post is my super cute Halloween Tic Tac treats. I saw these in the Better Homes and Gardens Big Book of Halloween and wanted to adapt them to Stampin Up. For the ghost version I used the owl builder punch #118074 to create the ghost and added the new googlies #127539. The boo was cut using the Timeless Type dies. The inside are you scared to pieces sentiment was created in MDS, then printed onto whisper white cardstock and applied to the tic tac case with sticky tape. For my friends that are afraid of all scary halloween things, I made the pumpkin version of the tic tacs.
Today’s card is one that I designed for my Halloween cards this year. I always have to design a “non spooky” card for my sweet friend that dislikes scary Halloween stuff. Not sure how we can be such good friends since she does not like Halloween and I love all things Halloween but none the less I continue to make sweet cards for her. For this card, I used a gumball green base then I took a piece of the Naturals Composition Specialty DSP#126917 from the Stampin Up Annual Catalog and colored it with my cajun inkpad to create a beautiful background. The naturals composition DSP has glossy raised patterns printed on heavy weight natural cardstock so it is perfect for using the direct ink technique. For the pumpkins, I thought outside the “apple” and used the apple stamp from the Perfectly Preserved #126692 stampset from the Stampin Up Holiday Catalog and stamped it in pumpkin pie ink to make a perfect pumpkin. I then cut the stamped image using the coordinating Cannery Framelit dies #127822 and handcut the stem. For the 3rd pumpkin, I cut 5 pumpkins and folded them in half and glued the halves together to create a 3D pumpkin. I finished the pumpkin with some bling. Super simple and I am sure Lisa will love this card and will save it with all the other non spooky cards I send her. Each year she brings them out and decorates with them which to me is the best compliment of all.
Today’s post is a wonderful card made by Yvonne Crook from Tulsa OK. Love everything about this card and the great brayer job Yvonne did to create the fall scene. Both Yvonne and Cammie took the brayer class from the “brayer queen”- Michelle Zindorf and with all the cards they have been turning out lately the class sure paid off. Guess it is time for me to put away the summer stuff, close the pool and bring out the pumpkins to get ready for fall.
