Old Rose

I have been on a kick to start using up my old DSP and today I did just that.  I started off with the Stampin Up Something Borrowed DSP and then added a rose accent cut using the Rose Garden Thinlit #140619. I added the crumbcake satin ribbon and the sentiment and frame from the Rose Wonder stamp set #140697 to create a vintage birthday card.

Simple Sympathy

I was able to cut a floral arrangement in record time with the Stampin Up Rose Garden Thinlit dies # #140619 and the Big Shot. Once the elements were cut I used Stampin Up inks and daubers to color the floral outlines.  The sentiment was added using the Rose Wonder #140697 stamp set and cut out with the coordinating Rose Garden Thinlits to create a beautiful sympathy card.

What I love sympathy

I always struggle to come up with sympathy cards and I never seem to have any in my card stash and of course I needed not one but 2 this week.  So off I went to my box of  flower stamps and I came across the Stampin Up What I Love stamp set from the last SAB catalog.  The set is no longer available but I have never used it so randomly stamped the two stamp floral image and then the leaves and little flowers.  I used the Wink of Stella on all the big flowers to make it  glimmer and added a micro pearl to the centers of all the little flowers.  I added a piece of Washi tape and the sentiment and label from the Rose Wonder #140697 stamp set to create this beauty.

Rose Garden Thanks

Adult coloring is all the rage right now and so I made my very own coloring sheet to make a card front. I used the masking technique to randomly stamp just the leaf from the Stampin Up Rose Wonder #140697 stamp set and then I just went to town coloring with my shades of green and filled it in with a blue and added a sentiment. This was a fun coloring project that was stress relief but I must say that this is not my best work.  I don’t like all the different shades but then again that’s art!

There are no words

I love these 2 cards because of the simplicity but most of for the sentiment from the Stampin Up Rose Wonder #140697 stamp set.  I used the fabulous but now retired Shine On DSP #140579 for the main layer.  I cut 2 leaves from the Rose Garden Thinlits Dies #140619 and then stacked lots of punched flowers from the retired Itty Bitty Punch Pack complete with rhinestone centers.  I stamped the sentiment and then hand cut it into small strips,

Something Borrowed

I love paper! I especially love Stampin Up Designer Series paper.  Even better I like to use DSP as the main focal point of my cards and that is exactly what I did with this card.  I simply used a piece of the retired (several years ago) Stampin Up DSP called Something Borrowed as the background.  I added a piece of coordinating Sahara Sand satin ribbon and then the sentiment from the Rose Wonder #140697 and the coordinating Rose Garden #140619 Thinlits.  To finish, I added the rhinestones to bling it up.
