Feeling Scrappy Today

2013_09_04IMG_3494 I have been on a roll lately creating cards and when that happens I get way too may scraps.  I never part with the decent size scraps because they come in handy when you need to punch something out.  I don’t know about you but I would stress way too much to punch a little circle from a fresh piece of cardstock.  So instead I have baggies full of scraps just waiting to be used.  Today I did just that.  I found random size scraps and trimmed or punched them into nice geometric shapes mounted them on a card front and added the sentiment to create these “masculine” cards.  I went to town creating these and it did not make a dent in my scrap pile.  Oh well it was fun anyhow!

Sunflower Scraps

I was tired of the scraps of paper laying around on my work surface so I decided to make use of them to create this fall card.  I just cut the random strips of scrap DSP and textured cardstock and then created a sunflower from the Fun Flowers  Big Z die #121812 and accented with my favorite ribbon- Stampin Up seam binding in crumbcake.   Woo hoo I have a cute and simple Thanksgiving card.
