Washi Christmas Cheer

2013_12_19IMG_3828Nothing says Christmas like bows bows and more bows. Today’s card is one I made using the Season of Style Washi Tape #132155 that I made into bows and then added the Christmas Cheer sentiment.  The trick with getting the bows to form nicely is to de-stick the backside of the Washi tape using baby power before making the bows.

Holly Jolly Christmas

2013_12_05IMG_3596 Today’s post is a super quick and fun card that features items from the Stampin Up annual catalog. I made this card for a workshop to show how quick a handmade card can come together. I punched the trendy Chevron border using the Chevron Border punch #132154 and then added random sizes of Christmas Season od Style  washi tape #132155.  To finish the card I stamped the Tags $ You #131823 sentiment and then punched it out using the coordinating label bracket punch #132153.

As an added bonus, if you purchase the Labels 4 You and the Label bracket punch together as a bundle ( wood #133293, clear #133294)you save 15%.

Oh Washi Tree

2013_11_25IMG_3840Oh Washi Tree, Oh Washi Tree?  However green you are.  Today’s the 25th and just 30 days until Christmas so I am posting a Christmas card.  The card uses mostly old & retired products but is fun none the less.  The background paper is retired and the tree window was cut using the holiday dies from last season.  But underneath the tree I used some of the festive Christmas Season of Style Washi tape#132155 from the Stampin Up holiday catalog.  I topped the tree with a star punched out of the red glimmer paper #121790.  I added the sentiment from the Sweet Essentials #126457 stamp set.  This card was fun to make and easy enough to produce a stack for Christmas cards
