Statement of the Heart

2018_07_19_IMG_3453 I made this card for a dear friend and Stampin Up customer who like me loves all things Stampin Up so I decided to use new products from the Stampin Up 2018-2019 annual catalog and make her an easel card to display on her mantle.  The beautiful paper is from the Share what You Love DSP Collection #146926. The sentiment is from the Statement of My Heart #148108. I personalized her name and added flowers by stamping them with the Make A Difference # 146676 alphabet stamp set.  To add even more elegance to the card I added the Share What You Love Artisian pearls #146927 to the centers of the flowers and the dotted i!

Share What You Love

2018_07_18IMG_3457Stampin Up encourages us to share what we love and I did just that with today’s post.  I am sharing what I love.. beautiful background papers that work well together.  These papers come from the gorgeous Share What You Love collection #146926.  These specialty papers are made with beautiful handpainted flowers and decorative patterned designs on heavyweight sheets and some even have a pearlized finish,

Hand delivered

2018_07_11IMG_3415 I usually try and not purchase or earn the Stampin Up Hostess Rewards stamp set but when I saw the Hand Delivered #146808 Hostess Stamp Set in the Stampin Up 2018-2019 Catalog I knew I had to have it.  I paired the image with the gorgeous Share What You Love DSP #146926 worked perfectly for a get well card.  Notice how perfect the skirt is?  I just stamped it on the coordinating DSP and then cut out and added it to the focal point image to complete the look!

Share What You Love

2018_07_01IMG_3455

Welcome to July.  This month I plan on sharing what I love and that is Stampin Up DSP (Designer Series Paper).  I am going to try to post cards made using mostly just DSP.  I used to buy and covet the DSP and have a huge stash of paper that was never used.  Now when I buy DSP I cut into it and use it.  Stampin Up makes it easy to coordinate their papers because within each collection the papers are intended [for the most part] to go together.  The perfect example is today’s card… I used all 12 designs of patterned paper from the Share What You Love #146926 collection on 1 card and it looks great! I added a coordinating ribbon and the sweet sentiment from the Barn Door #145865 stamp set.
