Well I have reached the end of my birth month celebration and month long posting of birthday cards so I am ending on a sunny post featuring my all time favorite flower- the sunflower! This card is on trend with all the buffalo check stuff everywhere these days. I used the Buffalo Check Background #147797 stamp to create the rustic look. For the focal panel I made the sunflower by punching the petals from the Garden Impressions DSP #146289 using the Christmas Bulb Builder punch #148013. For the bold center, I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits #145372 and added the sentiment from the So Many Shells retired stamp set.

Tropical Goodness
For today’s card I randomly stamped the leaf images from the Tropic Chic #146753 stamp set from Stampin Up. to get the texture I then used the Tropical Thinlits #146831 and the Big Shot Embossing Mats #146327 so that I could use the framelits to emboss the background. This technique using the Embossing Mats allows you use your framelits for more than cutting. I added the sentiment is from the now retired So Many Shells Stampin Up stamp set.

Seas My Day
Summer might be over for kids and parents with kids but for those of us who have empty nests this time of year is perfect to get away. Cammie made the perfect beach card to capture what’s left of summer. Cammie started off by setting the mood with her monochromatic blue background that has been textured with the now retired Large Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. For the beach panel she used the Fabulous Flamingo #143758 Stampin Up stamp set. For the glasses Cammie used the Pocketful of Sunshine #143719 stamp set and the coordinating Pocket framelits #143750. She added the beach thru the lenses. The sentiment is from the now retired So Many Shells stamp set.

Seas the Day at the Beach
Summer vacation is in full swing at beaches so this card is the perfect choice to “Seas The Day” and relax. Cammie used a subtle color scheme and the Hardwood #133032 background stamp from Stampin Up. For the focal panel, Cammie used various inking techniques to create the beach scene and added an Adirondack chair cut from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits #143751. The sentiment from the now retired So Many Shells stamp set was embossed in white and then the card was finished by adding jute twine to the side panel.

So Many Shells
The inspiration for this card came from a sample in last years Stampin Up annual catalog. I ordered this So Many Shells stamp set late in the game and then it retired but it was perfect to use for a friends summer birthday. I really love how the two step stamping makes the shell look so realistic. I paired the stamp set with the no Whole Lotta Lovely DSP.

Decisions Decisions
I really think this card is fantastic and really sums up a nice vacation away from the cold and snowy blistery winter we have had. The background was textured using the ruffled Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder #143699 from Stampin Up. For the main focal panel, Cammie used her brayering skills and the Touches of Texture #141934 stamp set to dimension and character to her lovely beach scene. She added the realistic looking shells from the So Many Shells #143695 stamp set. The Photographic-inspired shells make this card extraordinary. The sentiment is from the now retired Beachy Little Christmas stamp set from Stampin Up.

Beachy Christmas
When Cammie moved to Galveston this past spring she knew her 2017 Christmas cards would be beachy. This card is perfect for friends and family living in much colder climate. As with most of Cammie’s cards they are beautiful landscapes that have been brayered. Cammie used the Beachy Little Christmas #144854 stamp set from the Stampin Up Holiday catalog for all the beach elements on the card. For the catchy sentiment, Cammie paired greetings from the So Many Shells #143695 stamp set and the retired Joy to the World stamp set from Stampin Up to complete this extraordinary beachy little Christmas card.
