Today’s post is a thank you I received from my star customer Sheri. She always sends a thank you after our private session workshop to show her appreciation and I love getting the happy mail.

Today’s post is all about the now retired Stampin Up Shine On DSP, which was my favorite DSP in the Stampin Up Occasions catalog. I used the Sunburst Thinlits #140617 to cut the rays of sunshine from the smokey slate and the Shine On DSP. The clouds were hand cut from a piece of the Shine On DSP. I added a layered star cut from silver foil using the Star Framelits #133723 and randomly scattered bling to complete the card.
Today’s card is a CASE (Copy and Share Everything) from the Stampin Up Occasions catalog and features non other than my favorite Occasions catalog items- the Going Places product suite. The background paper is from the Going Places #140581 DSP paper stack and I randomly stamped the constellation image from the Going Global #140745 stamp set. I used the Star framelits #133723 to create the “open window star”. I added the sentiment from the Going Global stamp set and finished by adding some star sequins.
I love it when both Cammie and I come up with similar cards using mostly the same products. Today’s post is just that. We both used the now retired Gold Soiree DSP and the Bright and Beautiful Stamp set also retired from Stampin Up. The start were cut using the Star Framelits #133723. Cammie stepped her card up by adding the red foil#139607 star mats. We both blinged them up using rhinestones#119246.
You spoke up and we listened. Last year I did not post Christmas cards on the 25th of every month and we heard lots of complaints; so we are bringing Christmas back every 25th throughout 2015. Today’s Christmas post uses the Stampin Up Be the Star #135734 stamp set and coordinating Star Framelits #133723 and I layered the stars in a random pattern to create a festive Christmas card.
Today I wanted to showcase another one of my Stamp a Stack workshop. This card is the same card but done in both silver #133364 and gold#133363 Fancy Foil Vellum from the Stampin Up annual catalog. For the main panel, I just cut a “peek-a-boo” window with the Star Framlits #133723 and added a coordinating star and sentiment.
My #1 favorite thing in the Stampin Up Holiday catalog is the Under the Tree DSP #135835. This paper is so yummy because it is cardstock weight kraft sheets with color print on one side and white printed patterns on the other. I used the paper as star accents and cut them using the Star Framelits #133723. I paired the DSP with real red and garden green cardstock and embossed it with the Lucy Stars Textured Impressions Embossing Folder #135817. The large star is anchor to the sentiment and the super cute snowflake Frosted Sequin #135835.
Who knew how much I would love a stamp set? I never knew how much I would love to create with the Work of Art #134111 stampset that Stampin Up gave us at the catalog premiere party in April. I have used the heck out of this stamp set already and today’s post is my Christmas tree card that I made for one of the cards for my Christmas in July workshop. For the Christmas in July workshop, I decided that since there were not any Christmas stamps offered in the current Stampin Up annual catalog and the holiday catalog was not yet available I decided to have a “Use as other wise intended” workshop. All 5 of the cards I created for this class were non Christmas stamps that I used to create a Christmas card. It was great because it stretched my creativity and utilized stamp sets for other purposes.
For this card, I just used the Work of Art stampset and old olive ink to create the tree. The trunk was also created using the Work of Art set and soft suede ink. I decorated the tree with Gorgeous Grunge #130517 and Real Red ink. The star tree topper was stamped using the Be the Star #135734 and the coordinating Stars #133723 Framelits.
This was truly a fun creation and each tree turns out different which really adds to the fun at a workshop.
Happy Birthday to my friend and customer, Elizabeth Mara. Today’s card is the card I made for Elizabeth’s birthday using the Stampin Up Be the Star stampset #135734 and coordinating Stars Framelits dies #133723. When I saw the 2014-2015 Stampin Up catalog for the first time I was so excited that Stampin Up final had Star framelits and a stamp set to match so it made my must have list early on. Spoiler Alert…. the New Holiday catalog also has another Star stamp set that coordinates with the Star Framelits.
Speaking of the Holiday catalog it will be available online on Sept 1 when you can begin placing orders or email me at email@example.com and let me know your mailing address and I will mail you a catalog for free!
