Happy Father’s Day. Today’s card is my favorite one I created in my masculine workshop class and my favorite card using the Stampin Up Apron of Love #145835 stamp set and the coordinating Apron Builder Framelit #145661. The checkerboard background was done using the Stitched Shapes Framelits #145372 and is the perfect setting for the BBQ card.

Happy birthday to my dear friend Karen. I made a special card for her because I love her perfect strawberry pie that she showed me how to make so many years ago. I started off by setting the stage with the cute strawberry and coordinating dot DSP from the Tutti- Frutti DSP #145606 collection. To make the pie I cut the circle and scallop from crumb cake cardstock and the the Stitched Shapes #145372 and a coordinating Layering Circles #41705 dies. I textured the top crust using the Basket Weave textured impressions embossing folder that will be returning to the 2018-2019 annual catalog. I used a real red marker and a thin coat of fine tip glue to add the strawberry gel to the pie. The sentiment is from the Apron of Love #145835 stamp set. Hope your birthday is as sweet as you and your pie Karen!
I have gone wild with the Stampin Up Apron Of Love stamp set and coordinating Apron Builder Framelit #145661. With this Apron I embossed it with the Stampin Up Logo from the now retired Workshop Words stamp set and then filled the pocket with tools from the Crafting Forever #143955 and other scraps. I used the fabulous Painted With Love DSP #145580.
Todays card is one that I made using products that were intended for Christmas cards and made a baby girl card. This card features the background paper from the now retired Merry Little Christmas DSP. I added the sentiment from the retired Watercolor Christmas stamp set onto a Stitched Shapes #145372 piece . I added total cuteness with the Powder Pink Bitty Bow #144217.
I made this cute Easter card that could just as easily be a birthday or an all occasions card for a girlfriend. I love the way it turned out. I textured the card base using the Simple Stripes #145648 Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. For the main panel, I used scraps from the Bubbles and Fizz DSP (from Sale-a-bration that is no longer available) and cut it out using the Stampin Up Stitched Shapes #145372 Framelits. I assembled the big chick and added the legs by hand. The baby chicks were stamped from the now retired Basket Bunch stamp set and colored using Stampin Up Markers. The sentiment is from the retired Hey Chick stamp set. Love how cute and simple this card turned out!
Today’s post is a sweet spring card featuring Stampin Up’s Naturally Eclectic DSP #144185. For the sweet little bunny, I used the Daisy #143713 punch for the ears and the 3/4 inch circle #119873 and the 1 ” circle #119868 punches for the bunnies body. I assembled the bunny and place him on the Oval Stitched Shapes #145372 Framelits. The sentiment is from the Basket Bunch retired stamp set.
For today’s birthday post I combined the Crafting Forever # 143955 stamp set with the Apron of Love bundle in the Stampin Up Occasions Catalog #145986. I created my own background paper simple by stamping the scissors from the Crafting Forever stamp set. I then cut out the apron and all the associated apron details using the Apron Builder Framelits #145661 from the Bubbles and Fizz DSP #147244 which is available as a free item in the Stampin Up Sale-a-bration catalog. I added the shimmer ribbon (also a Sale-a-bration item) #147243 to the apron. To complete the card, I added the sentiment from the Crafting Forever stamp set onto a Stitched Shapes #145372 square.
