Here Kit Kit Kit

2017_08_04IMG_2450 Happy birthday to my Stampin Up Kit Loving friend Mindi.  In honor of her birthday, I am posting a card she made me using a couple of kits and a stamp set from the Oh Happy Day card kit #142725.

The Stampin Up Card kits are the perfect way to get started because everything you need is all included.  They are also great for a seasoned crafter because you can combine the products from multiple kits or with other products and create a quick and beautiful card.

Southwestern Sunset

2013_11_09DSCI0450Today’s card is a real artistic beauty and a stamp free card. Cammie selected various shades of Stampin Up inks and used the direct to paper method to create he sunset.  She used the Stampin Up oval punches to create the cactus and added a flower.  To finish the card she used the modern label punch and the new Candy Dots in brights #130931.

Birds on a wire

2013_10_14DSCI0447Today’s post is one of the cards we made in Cammie’s basic brayering class.  We created a sunset using various shades of oranges and a circle mask for the sun.  The birds were punched using the birdbuilder punch #117191 out of black cardstock and perched a top of a piece of string. This card was super simple to create and got us brayering the proper way.  I did not add a sentiment to my card yet because it is a general purpose card that I can use when I need a quick card in a hurry.

Sunrise Sunset

2013_06_17DSCI0165Summer is about here and that means its time for some beautiful Sunrises and Sunsets.  To get ready, Cammie has definitely mastered the sunsets using her brayer techniques.  She has figured out just the right blend of Stampin Up inks to create the perfect sunrises and sunsets.  To complete the look, the card on the left uses the Fabulous Florets stampset #123027 and the one on the right uses the Serene Silhouettes #127324.

Cammie has been receiving a lot of inquiries about teaching a brayer class and she is in the process of developing the class to learn the brayering technique.  The cost for the brayer class is $100 and will include all the consumable supplies and tools  you will need to use in the class and take home so you can continue to create beautiful brayered cards at home.  The first class will be held Sat August 3 in Columbus Ohio. If you are interested in attending contact Cammie directly at cammiet@att.net for further details and pre-payment.
