Happy Easter! I know I committed to posting a birthday card every day in March but this card that Cammie made was just too cute not to post on Easter. To be fair it just by changing the sentiment to thinking of ewe it goes from Easter to birthday in one fail swoop. The background DSP is retired and called Sweet Taffy. The sentiment is from a retired Easter stamp set called Eggs-traspectacular from Stampin Up. The sheep was made using a variety of Stampin Up punches and lots of hand cut Q Tips. The sheep was added to a tag cut using the Lots of Labels Framelits #138281.
Now that I broke my own birthday rule by posting a non birthday card during birth month, I will post Cammie’s other Easter card that uses the same layout and Sweet Taffy DSP but uses the Stampin Up Friends & Flowers Stamp set #140511 and the coordinating Festive Flower punch #139682.
Todays pick me up card for a sick friend was inspired by the tags on page 59 in the Stampin Up annual catalog that uses the Fabulous Four #134171 stamp set. I used the now retired Sweet Taffy DSP for all elements of this card including the large star cut using the Stars Framelits #135707. With all the bright colors this card should be sure to cheer up a sick friend.

Today’s post is a simple layout for a birthday card but it as always the layout can be applied to any occasion. I used the Stampin Up Large Polka dot textured impressions folder #133739 and a strip of Sweet Taffy DSP #133693. I cut a label using the Chalk Talk Framelit #129983. I added the stamped image from the now retired Making Spirits Bright #135089 stamp set and colored it with Stampin Up Blendabilities. I added some ribbon and sequins to give it some texture to complete a fun birthday greeting.

Happy Birthday to my dear sweet friend Lisa. I used a bright and cheerful color scheme and the the Stampin Up Sweet Taffy DSP# 133639. I used the Friends Who Know #134081 single stamp to create a chalkboard look for my friend Lisa. It is appropriate because she is a fabulous and dedicated 1st grade teacher. I embellished the chalkboard with an arrow punch #13379, an Itty Bitty flower punch #133787 and rhinestones. I love this stamp and am sure everyone has a BFF or two that this stamp will work for. The colorful banners down the side are punched with Banner punch #133519.

Today’s post is a shows a great way to decorate the Stampin Up gift card enclosures #136662. Each pack of gift card enclosures is a pack of 10 precut. prescored, gift card enclosures from Kraft cardstock. They are ready to decorate and add a gift card inside. I use the fun Sweet Taffy DSP#133693 not only because it coordinated with my Starbucks birthday gift card but I think the paper screams birthday fun! I added a tag made using the Scallop Tag Topper #133324 and accented it with a layered flower punched from the Petite Petals #133322 and the Itty Bitty Accents #133787 punches. I added the sentiment from the Yippee Skippe stampset #131344 an tied it closed with a piece of Hello Honey 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon #133671.
