Gatefold Christmas

 Todays post is another 2 cards with the same layout but different color scheme and embellishments to take on a whole new look.  Both cards are a gatefold card with a belly band to keep it closed.  The 1st card uses the Seasons of Style DSP paper stack #132181.  The circles were cut using the Circles Framelits #130911 and the stamped image is from a retired stampset that I cannot remember the name of.  The 2nd card features the Winter Frost DSP paper stack #132183, the Festive Flurries Stamp #131781 and the coordinating Festive Flurries die #132193.  The center of the snowflake I used the Tags 4 You #131823 stampset, the coordinating  Bracket Label punch #132153 and the Encore silver metallic ink #132147.

Holly Jolly Christmas

 Today’s post is a super quick and fun card that features items from the Stampin Up annual catalog. I made this card for a workshop to show how quick a handmade card can come together. I punched the trendy Chevron border using the Chevron Border punch #132154 and then added random sizes of Christmas Season od Style  washi tape #132155.  To finish the card I stamped the Tags $ You #131823 sentiment and then punched it out using the coordinating label bracket punch #132153.

Washi Witches Brew

I had a Washi Tape workshop over the weekend and this was one of the cards we made featuring the Witches Brew Washi tape #132156 from the Stampin Up holiday catalog.  I used the chevron folder #127749 to texture the whisper white background and then paired that with the all new Chevron border punch to reveal the pumpkin pie cardstock below.  I added a piece of Washi tape to serve as the anchor for the Tags for You sentiment and the coordination bracket punch.  The Tags 4 You and the Bracket punch are available as a bundle (clear #133294, wood #133993) and when purchased together as a bundle you save 15%.  I added a Witches Brew Washi banner to create a fun Halloween card.

Skull and Crossbones

Today’s card took me less than 5 mins to make from start to finish!  I like to create a simple and quick card but love it when it turns out cute too.  I used the Witches Brew Washi Tape #132156 to add to the background and then topped it off with a punched sentiment from the Tags 4 You #131820 stamp set and the coordinating Label Bracket Punch #132153.  All these items are available from the Stampin Up Holiday catalog.  Please note: the Tags 4 You stamp set  and the Label Bracket punch are a bundle and save item.  When purchased together, (wood #133293 & clear #133294) you save 15% off.  The items in the holiday catalog are available for a limited time- 2 January 2014.

Trick or Treat today?

Yes this is no trick I am giving you a treat by posting 2 posts in one day.  I missed posting yesterday so my treat was to double post today.  How fun that I also made it a trick or treat card.  I used the now retired spider web folder to create the textured background.  I then brushed the whisper white stamp pad across the web to add some fun.  I used the new chevron Background punch from the Stampin Up Holiday Catalog to create a border and reveal the pumpkin pie card base.  I added a label using the Chalk Talk stampset #130634 and the coordinating Chalktalk Framelit #129983.  I topped the chalk talk label with a label stamped with the Tags 4 You stampset #132823 and punched it with the coordinating Label Bracket Punch #132153.

Witches Brew DSP

For today’s card I used mostly all new products from the Stampin Up Holiday catalog.  The background paper and the Black paper strip are  from the Witches Brew DSP #132185.  The orange chevron strip is actually a piece of coordinating Witches Brew Washi Tape #132156.  The sentiment is stamped using the Tags 4 You #131823 and then punched using the coordinating label bracket punch #132153. I finished the card with a bow tied from black taffeta ribbon.
