Celebrate USA

2019_07_04IMG_3470 Happy 4th of July to all our USA family and friends.  To honor America, I made a patriotic card  featuring the chairs from the Seasonal Layers #143751 dies.  I hand colored the chairs in the flag pattern using Stampin Write markers.  The background was done using the High Tide #143006 stamp set from Stampin Up.  The sentiment was cut using the now retired Celebrate You die.

Lovely Fun Fold

Todays card is a fun  fold card featuring the now Retired Whole Lotta Lovely DSP from Stampin up. I added the sentiment from the now retired Thoughtful Branches stamp set.  The sentiment was added to an oval cut from the Stitched Shapes and matted with a scallop oval.  I then cut a flower out from the DSP to add even more beauty from the gorgeous DSP.

Serene Christmas

2016_12_16img_0369

For today’s card, Cammie started off with a background piece from the Serene Scenery DSP paper  stack #141642 in the Stampin Up annual catalog. The tree was cut several times from the Beautiful Branches (now retired) Thinlits and then layered for added thickness. The sweet bird is from the Thoughtful Branches (now retired).  She added a banner cut from the Bunch of Banners #141488 Framelits and embossed a greeting to the banner.

Cinderella Pumpkin

Today’s post is a result of both Cammie and I blogging and seeing what other creative people are doing with Stampin Up products.  I must admit when I saw this pumpkin I immediately thought it was pretty enough to be Cinderella’s pumpkin. Essentially the cards are the same (Cammie’s is on the left and mine is on the right).

We started out by texturing the background with the Woodland Texture Impressions Embossing Folder #139673 and then stamped the leaf image from the Thoughtful Branches stamp set (retired).  For the gorgeous pumpkin we used the Beautiful Branches Thinlits.  Cammie added a sentiment from the Suite Seasons #142206 in the hand cut frame from the Christmas Pines stamp set #141851.

Believe in This Christmas

2016_09_25img_1453

It’s already the 25th of the month and that means it’s time for a Christmas post. It is only September and I have most of my Christmas cards done for 2016 because I committed to making some each month and at least one per card workshop and that has really paid off.  This card features the This Christmas Specialty DSP #141628 in the Stampin Up annual catalog.  The main focal panel is stamped using the tree from the Thoughtful Branches #144328 stamp set .  The cardinals were also stamped using the Thoughtful Branches stamp set and cut out using the coordinating Beautiful Branches Thinlits#143538.  For the sentiment banner , I used the Thoughtful Banners stamp set #141614 and punched it out using the coordinating Duet Banner Punch #141483.  The sentinment is from the now retired Good Greetings stamp set.  Before adding the banner, I added wisps of Cherry Cobbler and Emerald Envy Metallic Thread #142003.
