Of all the patterns in the Stampin Up Toil and Trouble DSP collection I had a love hate relationship with this piece of patterned paper. I loved the brooms but hated it when I used it with other pieces until I remembered I had a retired stamp from Stampin Up that would complement the paper. I kept the design simple and just accented a broom with a small piece of linen thread. and loved how it turned out.

Today’s card once again is using various pieces of the Toil and Trouble #147531 DSP. The witch is even hand cut from a piece of the DSP. I added her to a full moon cut from the Stitched Shapes #145372 Framelits and stamped the stars from the Frights and Delights stamp set included with the September My Paper Pumpkin kit.
For today’s post Cammie used the Witches Brew DSP #132185 from the Stampin Up holiday catalog to create a super fun and dark journal for her brother. The cover DSP was perfect for the journal and besides embossing the initials on the cover there was nothing more to do.
Inside the cover Cammie used the First Edition DSP and then made a pocket and decorated it with the Toil and Trouble stampset #131727. The back cover was covered with the another piece of DSP from the Witches Brew DSP collection.
What a quick and fun way to transform a simple composition journal into a fun piece!
Today is your lucky day. Not only is it Halloween but 3 postings in 1 day by all 3 sisters at 3sisters2stamp.com. This post is the colorful Halloween treats that Cammie made for her husband’s office staff. She used fall colored cardstock and stamped the Toil & Trouble stamp set #131727 from the Stampin Up holiday catalog and then cut 2 out using the Apothecary Accents Framelit #127003. She then made a little box and put the stamped image on each side of the box and added a mini candy bar. The treat box was closed using the yummy 3/4″ Chevron ribbon. Super fun and easy treats that can be enjoyed for kids and adults of all ages!
Cammie recently taught a fabulous basic brayering class and afterwards I got the bug so we did a private brayered panel class afterwards. We created many different panels and challenged ourselves to complete the cards later. For this panel we brayered a spooky sky with a full moon and used the Toil and Trouble stampset #131724 from the Stampin Up holiday catalog.
Cammie created 2 similar cards but switched the color scheme and the orientation of the card to give completely different looks. Great minds think alike… Cammie also created a tombstone with a crow perched on top. She used an image from the now retired Monster Munchies stampset for the headstone and added punched chevrons using the Chevron border punch #132154 from the Stampin Up holiday catalog.
In case you missed what I did with my Toil and Trouble panel check out yesterdays post.
This is what I did to complete the card. I made a tombstone from the Apothecary Accents #127003 and added a glittered crow. The crow is also from the Toil and Trouble set and I used the heat and stick powder #100625 and the ultra fine black glitter # 132206 and then hand cut him out and perched him on top of the headstone. Stay tuned tomorrow to see Cammie’s finished Toil and Trouble cards.
