Oh Washi Tree

2013_11_25IMG_3840Oh Washi Tree, Oh Washi Tree?  However green you are.  Today’s the 25th and just 30 days until Christmas so I am posting a Christmas card.  The card uses mostly old & retired products but is fun none the less.  The background paper is retired and the tree window was cut using the holiday dies from last season.  But underneath the tree I used some of the festive Christmas Season of Style Washi tape#132155 from the Stampin Up holiday catalog.  I topped the tree with a star punched out of the red glimmer paper #121790.  I added the sentiment from the Sweet Essentials #126457 stamp set.  This card was fun to make and easy enough to produce a stack for Christmas cards

Season of Friendship

The Stampin Up  season of friendship stamp set #111776 is one of my favorite stamps.  I bought this set several catalogs ago for the expression- “The season of friendship lasts forever”.  Today’s post is a simple card that at stamped the tree and leaves on the natural white cardstock and then ran it through the bigshot using the square lattice #119976 embossing folder before embellishing it with itty bitty punched # 118309 flowers and pearls #119247.  Finished card by adding Crumb Cake seam binding ribbon #122332 and mounted on a concord crush layer and then to a crumbcake cardbase.

White Christmas

I used the new snowburst embossing folder on pg 33 of the holiday mini catalog http://204.228.150.61/catalogs/flash/en-US/2011_ldse3_holidaymini/index.html as the background for this pennant card.  The white picket fence was created using the key tag punch.  Stacked 3 embossed pennants to create the tree.  Finished it off by adding random rhinestones.  This card was a big hit and put everyone in the holiday spirit at least for the moment! Tomorrows card will be another Christmas card using the pennant on parade stamp set.
