Good Bye 2014

2014_12_27IMG_5710 - Copy 2014 was a good year with a lot of changes but looking forward to sharing the love of card making and creativity in 2015. Happy New Year’s eve one and all.

Today’s post features the Mingle All the Way #135773 stamp set paired with the Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper Pack #135824 from the Stampin Up Holiday catalog.

Cheers!

Mingle all the Way

2014_12_17IMG_5712For some reason today’s card reminds me of a comfy Christmas sweater or sweatshirt from long ago.  For both the background paper and the center rectangle, I used the Trim a Tree DSP paper stack #135824 from the Stampin Up holiday catalog. Behind the center panel, I added a banner hand cut from the gorgeous Cherry Cobbler 1″ Sheer Linen Ribbon #135839.  The main focal piece combined an old snowflake stamp  and the new Mingle all the Way #135773.

Making Spirits Bright

2014_12_07IMG_5713Today’s post is a simple design that works perfectly when you have a stack of cards to make.  I decided on a traditional theme and textured the background with the On Point Textured Impressions  Embossing Folder #135876 from the Stampin Up Holiday catalog.  I added a piece of plaid DSP from the Trim a Tree DSP paper stack #135824. For the main feature, I cut a tag using the Chalk Talk Framelits #129983 and then stamped the image with the Making Spirits Bright #135089.  I used the Stampin Up Blendabilites markers to color in the image and to “colorize” the rhinestones. I added a piece of the beautiful gold satin ribbon #134547 to complete the festive tag.

Trim the Pear Tree

2014_11_19DSCI0797 Today’s card features everything from the Stampin Up holiday catalog.  The background paper is from the Trim the Tree DSP Paper stack. For the stamped image, Cammie used the Partridge and Pears #133857 and then cut it out with a circle Framelit #130911 and colored it using the Stampin write markers.  The colored image was mounted on a Window Framelit #129021 mat and the Noel was cut using the Wonderful Wreath Framelits #135851 two times and then layered to create a shadow effect.

This card is another great card that is easy to create several for a long Christmas card list!
