Happy Veteran’s Day to all those who have served or are currently serving- thank you for your service! To honor them I made a single layer card using the Stampin Up Waterfront #146386 stamp set to create this patriotic scene.

I posted a card a few days ago that used the Waterfront #146386 stamp set from Stampin Up and found the set really challenging but today’s card also features the Waterfront set used in a non traditional way. I simply just stamped the circle image from the set in the 5 new 2019-2021 In Colors. I added the border strip from the Arts and Crafts #149580 Dies and the sentiment from the Waterfront set was stamped on a Stitched Shapes # 145372 circle and a scallop circle mat. I added the In Color sequins just to bling it up a bit!
I have had the Waterfront #148527 stamp set from Stampin Up for several catalogs now and never used it. I had visions of creating lots of tranquil scenes with this set but I struggled a bit with this set. I am not going to give up I will try when I have more time to play. I added the tropical square to the textured background with the High Seas 3D Embossing Folder.
For today’s card, Cammie created texture using 2 Textured Impressions Folders: Swirls and Curls #147923 and the Seasonal Wreath #151796. For the focal piece, Cammie created the beach scene on a Stitched Shapes #145372 using the Waterfront #146376 and the retired Custom Tees stamp sets from Stampin Up.
Happy Veteran’s Day to all our vets that have served or are serving. To honor them I made a card using the Waterfront #146386 stamp set from Stampin Up. It’s always great to use a stamp set for other ways than intended.
Today’s card looks like a post card for vineyards in Napa Valley. Cammie started out by texturing the background with the Timeless Textures #140514 stamp set from Stampin Up. For the focal panel Cammie used the Waterfront #146386 stampset for the scenic mountains. The wine bottle and wine glass were stamped using the Half Full #144996 stamp set to complete the picturesque scene,
Cammie created the marble looking background using the Stampin Up Brusho Crystals # 144101. The Brusho Watercolor ink crystals are sprinkledthem directly on water-washed paper and watch the colors burst to form unique and gorgeous looks. For the focal panel Cammie put her sponging skills to work along with the Waterfront # 144101 to create this tranquil beach scene.
It’s 6 months until Christmas and the 25 of the month so that means it’s time for a Christmas post. Cammie started off with a piece of DSP from the now retired Christmas Around the World collection from Stampin Up. She created the main tranquil scenery panel of pine trees and snow capped mountains using the Waterfront#146386 stampset.
