Another 2 by 2

2013_12_26IMG_3570 Today’s post is the final of my same layout different look cards. Both cards are simple in design and work well when you need a bunch of the same design.  Top card uses the Season of Style DSP paper pack#132181 from the Stampin Up holiday catalog.  The sentiment is a retired Christmas sentiment that is cut out from the Labels Collection framelits #125598.

The bottom card uses the Winter Frost DSP paper stack#132183 and all of the snowflakes from the Festive Flurry #131781 stampset and the coordinating Festive Flurry Framelits #132193.  After stamping them in shades of inks and cutting them with the framelits, I stacked them to create a beautiful layered snowflake.

Chalk Talk Christmas

2013_12_23IMG_3563This time of year I especially like to make things easy for myself and create cards using the same layout but switching the elements.  Today’s post is another example of me doing just that.  Both cards feature a tag cut using the Chalk Talk framelits #129983 from the Stampin Up annual catalog. The top card is done using the Winter Frost DSP paper pack #132183 and the Festive Flurry Stamp set 3131781  and coordinating framelits #132193  The center of the snowflake is a rhinestone adorned embellishment from the Frosted Finishes #132150 embellishments.  Can I say beautiful? I finished the card with a piece of the Silver 1/8 ” ribbon.  All these items are from the Stampin UpHoliday catalog that are only available through Jan 2, 2014.  If you love the snowflakes and have to have them, remember to bundle them and save 15% (wood #133284 and clear #133285)

The bottom card features the Season of Style DSP paper pack #132181 from the Stampin Up Holiday catalog and the Tag It #130303 stamp set that coordinates with the Chalk Talk Framelits.  The Tag It stamp set is annual Ronald McDonald charity stampset.  For every set sold, Stampin Up donates $3 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities, RMHC.  The RMHC help families who have children with serious illnesses and to date Stampin Up has donated over $1,000,000 to RMHC.  Together we can make a difference and what a better time than now to give.

Halloween Hello

2013_10_26DSCI0465 Today’s card is one of Cammie’s fantastic Halloween brayered cards.  What is great about this card is that Cammie used the Winter frost DSP#132341 as the background paper in an unconventional way.  The Winter frost DSP is traditionally a winter themed paper but when used with Halloween stuff it can be transformed into a whole new purpose.  Cammie used a double layered Apothecary Accents Framelits #127003 as the focal piece to brayer here spooky full moon background scene and added a bat from the Halloween Hello stamp set #131718.  She scattered die cut stars cut from black cardstock and the all new silver foil #132178 paper.  The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes #128748 stampset and used the word window #119857 punch and layered it on the modern label #119840 to complete the Halloween card.
